I purchased this power supply to test out my current rig because it wouldn't power on. Knowing that Corsair has a very good reputation (from experience), I purchased this PSU.The unit has more than exceeded my expectations so far, and even though it wasn't my previous power supply that was at fault, I am now using it in my rig. It seems very quiet.I am backed up by the fact that it comes with a 10 year manufacturer's warranty!! So I feel confident that i'll have support for many years to come if I need it.

Checked with multimeter spot on voltages much better then my old 80+ bronze unit. Really quiet as fan stays off unless needed. Modular wires make it easier to route wires neatly which helps with air flow. All in all an excellent unit at a good price from a manufacturer with a reputation you can trust.

Pros: Good PSU with good finish and quiet operation.Cons: Slight electrical whine is audable when powered and turned on with the system off in a silent room, however this is not audable when system is running.Pure aesthetics - but Information sticker is viewable when mounted upside down, however I would expect this is the case for any PSU and can probably be easily covered if desired.

Pros: Small, Quiet, easy to cable.Cons: ALL the SATA power cables have right-angle connectors. If you have drives that fix to the case wall, these will not fit. The workround is to use the included Molex power cables with molex to SATA adapters. Corsair do not make straight-through SATA cables for this PSU. It's an inconvenience if you don't have any adapters to hand.
Good Points: A solid brand that i did a lot of research around before purchasing. Top brands for psu seem to be corsair and seasonic i went with corsair because i know a little more about them as a company. only been using it a few weeks (my last psu(antec) got me 10yrs and im pretty sure it would go another couple) .Solid and stable power so far that i can tell, using with overclocked xeon(10yr old system) and rtx 2070.highly recommended psuImprovement Points: - So far as i can tell there is little wrong with this psu.- It is a big unit and takes up a far amount of room in my fractal meshify c- Cables are quite stiff (but i hope that is a sign they are robust)
