I had been doing a lot of research after reading so many other reviews on people using different memory rated at 3200Mhz laptop memory just to find out when used with intel 10th Gen CPU it would only run at 2666MHz. It turns out that most laptops aren't able to recognize the XMP profiles or have options to manually adjust timings. This is where verifying that the memory sticks have Jedec speeds programed onto the memory sticks so that the laptop will adjust to the rated speed automatically.

Top ram modules for the price.Combined with msi b760 pro, xmp works from the get-go. I wouldnt buy it for AMD systems since it is recommended for Intel.

I purchased this ram module to use with an asrock deskmini x300. The build only took about 20 minutes to complete, but it wouldn't post. Good memory if the platform supports it. NewEgg customer support is awesome and accepted my return of 2 x 32GB Vengeance SO-DIMMs without issue. I imagine I would have given the product 5 Eggs if my laptop supported the SO-DIMMs. No Fault of Corsair. I chalk this one up to Lenovo having custom memory manufactured so they can attempt to lock customers into their upgrade prices. A little Googleing lead me to the SO-DIMM manufacturer Lenovo uses. I would have purchased the AXIOM memory from NewEgg if they carried it.
This RAM was easy to install in my 2019 Razer Blade Advanced (Mercury) laptop. It was as simple as detaching the bottom panel, taking out the old RAM, inserting the new RAM, reattaching the bottom panel and turning the laptop on. It took a few moments to get to the login screen, but it recognized the new RAM immediately and shows 64GB installed with no issues. I would estimate it took me about 10 minutes to complete since I was taking my time; most of which was taking off putting on the bottom panel. Recommended if your budget and system can support it. With the 1TB SSD I installed, it says I can run pretty much anything now and it should be good for quiet some time.
I purchased this stick of ram to install in a Acer Nitro 5 AN515-43-R0YM(Ryzen 5 3550H, RX560x) because it only came with a single 8gb stick of ram. This snapped into the second slot with no issues and booted the first time. Runs stable and the performance gain running 16gb in dual channel definitely helps. I always use Newegg for my computer parts. Fast shipping and good prices.
I would recommend this kit, it is important to remember that when you install a new memory kit in your PC that the PC will need to train the memory. When installing this in my P1 Gen 2 it did take about 5-8 minutes to fully boot back up into Windows and had to restart several times in the process but all subsequent boots were just as fast as normal. This is a fast kit in both general speed and CAS latency and the timings are very tight. My PC has been running like a dream since this was installed.
I got this to upgrade my MSI Stealth 14 laptop. I'd run the passmark performance test on the old memory (SK Hynix 2 x 8Gb) and then ran it again. It came out around 40% faster. A super result.

It is unclear if the incompatibility is due to Corsair or DELL not implementing a standard fully or some other factor that is not sufficiently documented. I ended up buying Crucial sticks (with identical specifications on paper) for 15% more and losing 10% of the returned price of the Corsair as the package was open. Several days after paying 15% more the price is now below that which I paid for the Corsair RAM. The whole exercise was an expensive waste of time. In the past I have bought Corsair RAM for a DELL XPS 15 9570 and it works brilliantly. For a laptop (where the manufacturer does not list RAM compatibility with other brands) I recommend only buying memory from a RAM manufacturer that guarantees ... to bad CORSAIR is not the top brand any more. no more top quality hardware that was history. got tons of errors and it took me time to figure that my problem is from the ram. and the support reply back after a week. and to replace they need serial, so i have to open my laptop to get them the serial!! they cause me the open my laptop 3 times, 1st to install the faulty ram, then to get the serial than to replace it. never buying CORSAIR again.
