Easy to use with one hand, grinders under bottom are plastic and look quite flimsy - not sure about their longevity. Easy to adjust grind. Takes 6 AA batteries. Works well for the price range.

Fell to pieces first time I when to open to refill. (Outer cover not glued/fixed adequality). The 'P' and 'S' has already rubbed off (after 1 month). Does the job, nice design, but feel like I have bought a ebay job grinder. Not what I expected from a brand name like Maxwell & Williams.

I've always wanted one of these, and when the old shakers started to look a bit mankie, the choice was clear. It takes 6 AA batteries, and I reckon you'd need to keep using the device and checking to make sure they haven't expired or leaked. It's worked really well, if a little noisily compared to manual alternatives.
Compact as it has both salt and pepper compartment. Not too difficult to refill, just use a teaspoon through the opening. Fav part is that grinding can be adjusted through dial on the bottom.Batteries not included and the S and P writing gets rubbed off after a while (i simply put clear tape over it to protect it).
Looks great but has some flaws- for one, it takes 6 x AAA batteries to run, and those batteries don’t last terribly long (even industrial strength were quick to flatten. Our S for salt has also rubbed off like others have said. Does a nice even job of grinding rock salt. We like that there’s less on the bench.
So far it's good little over priced for what it is andlittle smaller than I thought. hard to fill as the whole middle part where you put battery's doesn't come off so only small sides to put salt and pepper in.Otherwise not bad.
Looks nice and a great idea, although not as adjustable (for grind size) as the separate mills I have had previously, but a space save having it combined. Might be a bit big for kids hands though.
I bought it as I was having trouble with my hands. The pepper grind is too fine for my liking. It does allow you to adjust the knob for coarser pepper but if I adjust too far, the knob falls into the food.
Very dissapointd with Dual Salt and pepper grinder the two letters dissapeared after 5 uses the top keeps falling off sending springs everywhere we are travelling for 3 months it is not up to standard I just want my money reimbursed to my account it has just fallen apart again this morning I would not recommend to anyone to buy it.I am going back to old fashion grinders.Kevin Crosby
