Combining glycolic acid, salicylic acid and vitamin C, this toner exfoliates and purifies the skin, without overdrying it. It's designed for daily use, and is gentle enough for sensitive skin. Glycolic acid is a water-soluble acid that dissolves the cells on the skin's surface, artificially speeding up cell turnover to reveal the fresh new layers underneath. It is effective in treating hyperpigmentation, dullness, and by stimulating collagen production, it helps fight the signs of skin aging, such as fine lines and wrinkles. Salicylic acid is an oil-soluble acid that penetrates deeply, exfoliating the skin and unclogging pores. Vitamin C is a powerful antioxidant, which helps neutralise free-radicals caused by exposure to daylight (the number one cause of fine-lines and wrinkles). It also brightens the skin, leaving it with a more youthful, glowing appearance. It also contains niacinamide, which brightens the skin; helps reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles; and increases ceramide production which strengthens the skin's barrier, helping it retain moisture and giving it a healthier and more youthful appearance.
