Ordered the glasses for Xmas to have an EMPTY box delivered to my house in the 22nd of December. Called to express my frustration that I was sent an EMPTY BOX and get a pair overnighted so I could give my girlfriend her present, that I had done my part and ordered in time to receive before Xmas, and they said they would not over night then and that I would get them in 3-5 business days. 3-5 business days is now Tuesday the 29th. It would be one thing if these classes weren’t $250 and the only present I had purchased, but to have to wrap an empty box for Xmas was very disappointing. I have own every brand and am very particular about the lenses I get. I spend alot of time on the water and usually will wear sunglasses outside until it is dark out. These have been fantastic glasses. Just like with anything, you need to take care of your sunglasses. I am mindful about how I handle them so to not stretch them out. I haven't had any issues with mine and have had them for 3 months now. I will get another pair.

I have had these frame for a few months and I absolutely LOVE them. The frames are really durable, the lenses haven’t scratched, and they are so comfortable I forget I’m wearing them sometimes. I was reading over the reviews, and honestly some of them aren’t accurate. If your frames are crooked or not fitting well, you probably just need to take them to be adjusted. Also, you can’t leave them in the car. The fluctuation in temperature will cause the bio-resins to warm up and warp easily. These aren’t cheap sunglasses people! These materials are more easily adjustable, which, Sunglass Hut adjusted mine with no hassle at all and they fit great. I purchased a pair of Sullivan's as they are the 15th pair of Costas I own. After wearing them for a solid week, the frame stretched and they kept sliding down my face. I sent them in for a replacement (easy process) but was sent back a pair that HAD to be a knock off pair. The frame was plastic and they lens were not clear. I could have bought a better pair at WalMart. I am sure Costa is sourcing their repair department! Unable to speak with a live person, I sent them back and I am currently waiting another pair.As a loyal Costa customer, I HOPE that they will regroup, get the warranty department back to the US and stop sending replacements that are not near the value of the original that was purchased by a Costa dealer. DO BETTER!
Wanted to surprise the wife with new glasses for the long weekend. These glasses were nowhere local and it was Thursday. Ordered them with 1 day shipping and made a call to customer support. They arrived the next day by noon. The wife loves them and I agree she looks great in them.
The past couple of years I've only used cheap sunglasses as I didn't think more expensive ones were worth the money. I used to own a pair of costa's, and they were great, but that was a long time ago. I bought these when I saw them in sunglasses hut this past weekend, and they're great. I've already had them out on the water for a whole day and they worked great. Don't believe those cheaper brands who say their sunglasses are just as good as the more expensive brands. The build quality, lens quality, and lens clarity is on a completely different level. They look great too!
First off, I love the style of these glasses. The size is great, glasses are light weight and as always the lenses are very clear. However, there is no grip anywhere on these glasses. With nothing to really hold the glasses in place, you will constantly have to push them back up on your face...like every 30 seconds. Mine have fallen completely off my face several times from just bending over etc. and have scratched the lenses badly at this point. If there were nose pads and an improved side grip to these glasses they would be a 5star set of shades.
My hubby has had a couple if pairs of Costas for a while. I just bought my 1st pair in April & now the sullivan makes my 6th pair. It bears saying, I was an optician for 21 yrs, & I am still amazed at the clarity every time I put on my sunnies. I am a bit of a sunglass addict & had 46 pairs before buying any Costas. I had some really good special order lenses in a lot of them. Most designer brands, almost all polarized & some glass. Now I absolutely refuse to wear anything but my Costas. I will only ever own the glass lenses as it's a huge difference in clarity. I received the apalach as a bday gift, sullivan was my gift to myself. These 2 are my new favs!!
Own 3 colors of the Sullivan. No issues w fit or function. Best costa model imo, I always owned triple trails before. Been wearing costa SG since 2004. Not sure what’s the deal with the other folks experiences but sorry to hear not working out for more people. I think they’re great. Definitely wouldn’t expect them to stay on or grip face like the triple tails, but mine don’t fall off with day to day use.

Plus, they come with a really cool bamboo collapsable case that is much sturdier than the Maui Jim one, and also a cleaning cloth/bag that the Maui's didn't even offer. And for a lower price.
