Costa - Tuna Alley Tortoise Sunglasses / Copper C-Mates 2.00 Lenses

I need readers and was to read about CMates; a perfect solution when I run charters.I ordered a pair of Tuna Alley black with 2.5 correction. They arrived quickly and I anxiously opened the box to try them out. They fit great, the bifocal readers do their job but the clarity of the lenses was out of focus. They blur images. If I looked out the very top of the lenses, they were in focus but as I looked through the middle of the lens, they were clearly out of focus. No joke intended. Very disappointed as I have always had good luck with other Costas. Hope I just got a bad pair.

Great glasses. They feel snug and a perfect fit. I purchased the bifocal and man what a game changer for an older guy like me. No more readers on top of my shades while on the water to tie lines.

This is my first set of Costa lenses and I'm very impressed with the quality 'feel' of the lenses and frames. I fish primarily, with these style glasses, on streams for steelhead trout, regular trout and smallmouth bass. I needed a quality polarized Lense with readers built in and Costa is on of the only few manufacturers that provide this option. So far, these are not a disappointment in any capacity.

CDM-Tuna Alley Readers 7008

These are great sunglasses/readers. Great help for reducing eye strain in the outside bright sun. Since I now need readers these are wonderful when driving. The sunglasses lens helps reduce strain on eyes from the sun. While the readers let me see everything clearly w/out having to put readers over other sunglasses. So far so good, the quality is good, and they look nice. Glad I found them. Would recommend Try if need both like I do.Thanks for your time!

Fit is too tight on head

The frame and nose dimensions are correct for my head, but the temple arm is too tight and is not adjustable. When I called customer support they suggested I get the Fisch readers. The Fisch temple arm is not too tight, but the sunglasses are too big for my head and the nose piece is too lose. I really like the sunglasses with built in readers but something needs to be done about the fit. The one size fits all approach just doesn't work for me.

Glasses work well for me

These are good glasses for what I need. I have started to get the reader version as I get older but I really like the reader for tying knots and checking the GPS while underway. Still good vision for sighting fish in the flats but I wish they had the readers with the same brown lens but a green mirror surface finish like I had when I didn't need readers. Costa was also really good with the warranty with this pair-they used a rubber nose insert with the original pair that failed, and they happily sent me a new pair that has an updated nose styling so I was impressed with their customer service. Really like Costa's quality for the price.

Great for fishing, golf, motorcycling, and general

Just ordered my 2nd pair. Nosepiece finally gave our on my first after years of hard use. Originally bought for fishing - clarity/detail in water is excellent. I don’t need my prescription glasses to tie knots.I use them for golf, too. The line doesn’t interfere at all with the ball at address. And I don’t ride my Harley without them. I can read the dashboard gauges and detail in the mirrors (when stopped)

Love these!!!

I have used various reader sunglasses for fly fishing and I needed a new pair. These are so much better: clearer lenses, frame fit is great on me, frames stay on my face like they are held on tight (others would move around) and they look great. Most of all, the magnified reader is lower on the lens than previous brands, this means while I am walking around in a river my balance isn't set off while looking at rocks under water below my feet or climbing around.Only bummer is a 25% sale started just a few short weeks after I bought them.

Not Good Readers

The reader portion is too low and too small. It is difficult to use the readers when operating equipment like driving or boating. Got to move the glasses up to use the reader portion of the lens and then back to down to see what is ahead of you; very awkward at best. I didn't have this problem with other brands of sunglass readers that cost a lot less. Great sunglasses but if you need readers not a good choice. Recommend buy the regular sunglasses that you like and adding stick-on readers so the reader is in correct position.

Very Nice Pair

I love these glasses! They fit me perfectly to my surprise. Love the white color with the dark lenses - nice glass lenses. The optics surprised me - kinda juiced up optics - looks great actually I'm very happy with the purchase.
