I purchased this play kitchen for my 6-yr old and 3-yr old daughters. My 6-yr old actually asked for the kitchen on her Christmas list this year, and she is really excited about the included phone. This gives her the option to pretend she's using a kitchen at home, or she pretends it is a restaurant and she takes orders over the phone. The kitchen is very cute once assembled. Cons are: directions are somewhat confusing; the "oven" compartments are too small to fit our Melissa & Doug wooden cookies baking sheet. Pros: burners and "fridge water" parts both make sounds and light up; there's a microwave; there's a phone; and the knobs on the faucet can be turned. Overall, I would recommend this kitchen.

The kitchen is perfect height for my taller than average 18th month old. It went together east by myself. Just put together early for Christmas. Slight issue with directions and pieces 14 and 15 need to be reversed which isn’t hard to notice at some point as need it for shelf to slide in later so just had to fix real quick. Somehow microwave door was slightly off in holes drilled so gap at opening which wouldn’t allow door to fully open. Emailed Costway which was on directions. A customer service. Issued me a partial refund on PayPal so I could get parts or may someone to fix it for me. Then followed up to see if that’s satisfactory. I can’t wait to give it to her!! Have not hooked up water dispenser yet due to her age.

We love this for our granddaughter! It's just the right size, is very sturdy and has so many cute features. The doors open and close as they should. The stove burners make cooking noises. The water dispenser makes water sounds, and the burner knobs click when you turn them. It comes in pieces and looks very intimidating to put together but the instructions are clear and easy to follow. I'm a grandma with zero constructing skills but I put it together by myself. Even with a few "I have to get off this floor" breaks I had it done in 2 hours :)

The picture says “real working water dispenser” but what it means to say is “real electric water noise dispenser”. No water dispenses. The sound is so faint it doesn’t even sound like water. Sent wrong pieces, took hours to put together. We thought we were upgrading from a plastic kitchen but the screws splintered through the wood. No way this thing lasts long enough for my toddler. Super disappointing given the price and it being a Christmas present. Manual to put together has several typos and hard to understand. IKEA furniture is easier to put together.
Provided incomplete hinge....its the 2nd to last step in the assembly. On top of that just multiple bags with random mismatched hardware. Buyer beware, the picture looks decent but this is the lowest quality press board piece I have every had the displeasure of assembling. It should have taken about 40 minutes, but loose fitting pieces and hardware thrown in the randomness of baggery nearly doubled that time; and then to dinf that one of the doors doesn't have a complete hinge because apparently it's so cheap that they need to send half of a hinge. Save your money or buy a better one.
The instructions were not complete. My husband spend more time than he should have trying to build it. Half the instructions were missing. The microwave door does not open all the way. The counterpart looks different than what it did in the pictures. It came with a tan wood square looking thing in the middle which you cannot detach. If you’re not good with assembling things and if you mind all doors not opening all the way or the counter looking different then online pictures don’t purchase .
Really difficult to put together. Instructions do not look like what was sent to us. Seems like there were parts outdated? Also we had some extra screws and then time when we needed an extra one and had to make do. Really poor design, not the added stress we needed right before the holidays.
Got this for the god child who is about a year and a half. He put it through the paces. Opening and closing the microwave door broke it on day 1. Pushing the buttons and slapping the burners broke one of those on day 2. It still holds up for him to open and close the oven and cabinets and turn the knobs, which is really why I got it, because he loves doing that in a real kitchen. It's pretty small as well. Definitely built for preschool size kids. If I were going to buy something like this again, I'd upgrade. But it's OK for the price.
A nice kitchen spoilt by shoddy flimsy plastic add ons. The phone broke, the hooks for the fryer etc too flimsy and broke. Worst was the microwave the end wall incorrectly placed when toddler opened the door the side wall of the microwave broke off
We haven’t even put this kitchen together yet as it’s a Christmas present, but we put the box under our bed after receiving it yesterday and by the time we went to sleep, our entire room reeked of some strange chemical smell. I don’t even know how to explain the smell but it’s strong and smells like a factory. The box aired out all day on the porch and still it smells absolutely terrible. I pray the kitchen does not smell this way when it’s put together. It’s giving me a headache.
