The pant style is great, same as it has always been but the colour is more a taupe than the sand that you use to have. The sand was more a honey colour which is what I was looking for. I am considering returning these to a store when I can travel that far to exchange them.I love the style and the regular fit that hasn't changed. I have a variety of colours.

Maintain their colour after washing and pair with almost any colour!Be careful with sizing as there is a fair amount of variation between seasons, length and waist. Check for the code on the tag.They do stretch slightly after wear, so try going down a size if comfortable.

These jeans are lovely, however they are not as well cut as the previous iteration from about 10 years back. They still have the great nice straight outside leg seam which is very flattering on figures without rapier thin thighs. But the waist is too big or the hips are too small. There is more space in the upper thigh - the inside leg seam could be taken in a bit (and it will be at my house!) Apart from that, they are beautifully made and the cloth is lovely. The jeans I bought more than 10 years ago are still going strong. The lycra component is just starting to fail in one pair. They have been worn and worn and worn. So, if we are dealing with identical cloth, these jeans will last, looking really good for a long time.

I bought the 'sateen jeans' from CR a few years ago for winter but I really like the 'sateen jean' they have this year so much more. The fit is better, they don't slide down over my hips so I don't need a belt. I have a short waist so these don't sit so high that I fell like they almost touching my arm pits (as is the current trend with high waisted pants). Very flattering fit and bit of butt lift. Highly recommend. I got one in a few different colours. Great for the mild Queensland winter and the fabric is not super thick, just thick enough.
I bought these in 3 colours. I’m usually a 10 however they have stretched after one wear. They seem to snap back into shape when you wear again but they are not skinny skinny on. A touch baggy but still look presentable etc. Good for work everyday pants as they don’t resemble jeans at all. Super comfy and the stretch makes it easy to tuck a top into. Will buy again in other colours.
Absolutely LOVE the new Sateen Jean! I’ve had a previous version from last year in two colours and after losing weight I needed a new pair. But after trying on the latest version - because they’re an even nicer slim cut (and I’m curvy) - I realised one pair was just never going to be enough! I bought two at first (white and sand) and returned for the navy. I now need to go back for the black after all the compliments I’ve received! Thank you CR for making me feel great whenever I’m wearing them ❤️❤️

I ended up exchanging these a couple of days after my purchase for a size smaller after putting them on at home. I was concerned about them stretching too much. So glad I went for the size smaller as after the first wear, they still fit beautifully. The waste doesn’t stretch but the legs give a little so the size 6 was comfortable (I’m never normally a 6 so was a little concerned 😅). Really happy with the purchase. No constant pulling up of the waste and either which can happen in other jeans.
I consider myself to be pretty fussy with what I wear, I want good quality and the perfect fit, I have so many pairs of regular jeans that you can only dress up to a certain point, but these bad boys are just that extra step of chic ness, they are so buttery soft, so comfortable to wear and I think just a much more elevated look in my humble opinion. I’m always stopped when I wear these, I am total obsessed I own 4 pairs in different colours, I want them all! Now please country road please restock the grey option asap! True to size but do stretch out with wear so I would size down unless you don’t mind a more relaxed feel. 10/10 in all aspects
I could not recommend these jeans enough! They exceeded my expectations. I had been looking for a pair of jeans that were slim fit yet comfortable for months and thought I’d never find a pair. I had tried numerous companies and thought all hope was lost until eventually came across these jeans.
