I normally am not a “lip gloss” type of girl, BUT my daughter got this yesterday from the store and we both love it!!! She loves lipgloss, I usually don’t because of the stickiness. This lip gloss isn’t sticky whatsoever. It’s really smooth and goes on so perfectly! The gloss wand applicator is a little bigger than most and it’s the perfect size! One swipe of it covers your lips perfectly. This specific scent is sooooo nice it smells like peaches. It even tastes good! Kind of sweet! We will defiantly be purchasing more of these yummy lip glosses to try the other scents and colors!

I purchased this in Sugar Poppy thinking I was getting a pink lip gloss but it's almost completely sheer. The thing that bothered me more was the weird chemically coconut flavor it has. I normally don't really care about a smell or taste as long as there's some type of color but this is basically a clear gloss with a bitter fake coconut flavor, not to mention it's drying and makes your lips feel awkwardly numb. I contacted Covergirl about it and they told me in email form that it's unfortunate that I didn't like it because it's a best seller and everyone else does lol. My sister got this for me and the pigment is perfect for spring/summer days. The only thing I dont like about this is that its reallt sticky and the wand is more suited for people with bigger/fuller lips which is great! Usually the norm for lip wands are small. But I have lips on the smaller side so its easier to put too much product on causing so much stickyness. Also every time I put this on I get a numbing feeling almost as if it was plumping but not actually plumping. Lastly, the fragrance is so gross its too strong too fruity. Its kind of nauseating but Im gonna use it all to get the money worth. Would not get again.

This gloss smells incredible and I love the shade I have. The formula is silky smooth and non sticky. I love that my hair doesn't get stuck to it. The formula feels like a good, thick consistency and I absolutely love the thick doe foot applicator that it comes with. Makes application an absolute breeze.I was initially drawn to this because of all the influencer coverage. So many people seemed to be raving about it and I was surprised because covergirl isn't a brand you see people talk about on the daily.I like to apply this over a lip liner for extra coverage as these are intentionally sheer, but it also works cute on its own or over a full coverage lipstick. It's really nice dabbed into the centre of the lips over another lipstick for a touch of gloss.

However the slight tingling went beyond tingling to a burning sensation. I removed it and applied again later, same outcome, except burning from the o set the second time. I removed the gloss, but there was no relief until I washed my lips and applied cold aloe vera gel and lip balm with aloe and Shea butter. I went to the covergirl website and saw that several reviews report burning! This one actually fixed it! I live in a desert climate with low humidity and this was the perfect barrier and hydrator for the dry fall months. The formula is nonsticky, non-runny (I hate feeling gloss in the corners of my mouth), long lasting, with high shine. The pigment doesnt go crazy though and is pretty sheer so if youre looking for a butter gloss, this is not it. I bought this product a short time ago, and I really enjoy the color and scent. It makes my lips feel very smooth, and they overall look very glossy and pretty! I think the only problem I have is for a short while after applying it, I get a tingling/warm sensation on my lips. I made sure I did not buy plumping gloss, so I am unsure what is causing it other than I may have a sensitivity to an ingredient used. The shade I chose “Havana a Good Time” looks very natural on my lips, and that is exactly what I wanted! Slightly pinker and much glossier than my normal lips. I can get over the sensation, and I will continue to use this gloss, I am even tempted to purchase another shade! The applicator is pretty thick, which suits me just fine!
