DO NOT BUY THESE.Not under any circumstances. These are legitimately useless. After returning one set for constantly being wrong by up to 2mm, the next set (current set) randomly adds 5mm to zero. Consistently. To the point where every single time I take a measurement with them, I have to double check it, then re-zero it.Do not waste your money on this trash.Bunnings, PLEASE discontinue this horrible, horrible product. It is beneath even YOU guys to stock,

I didn't think it was possible, but these are even worse than the cheap calipers on eBay. Very rough sliding action and seems to have been finished on a belt sander rather than a surface grinder. Was looking for a cheap set to use for scribing lines, but these are probably not even good for doing that.

Nope. Wanted a cheap set not looking for anything super accurate but got some and real notchy and jam unless you wriggle them to get them started. Put up with them but despite battery testing fine the display is all over the shop now and just a bin job. Should have taken them back first up or even better taken notice of the reviews and bought something with better reviews

Works well, and very easy to use. Beware of dropping the microscopic screws which hold battery cover in place - many amusing minutes with flashlight trying to retrieve one from carpet. At least a micro-point screwdriver is included, and a nice sturdy case. Very good value, and recommended.
I bought my first pair about a year ago, and they've lasted very well so far. Their not perfectly accurate, but a caliper will never be, not even a mitotoyo. I've got myself another 2 pairs now, they seem a bit crunchy, i had to wipe off some grinding dust and add will be doing a disassembly of then, wipe them down with a microfiber cloth and add some light oil to the slide. I think many of the negetive reviews are because people haven't noticed this and the grinding dust has worn them out very quickly
$18 for a piece of junk. Save your money, folks. You're better of guessing the measurements yourself. This tool is almost impossible to zero. You hit zero and then it fluctuates to -0.02mm. This is not to mention how it can auto zero half way through a measurement. The build is flimsy, rattly and it drains the battery. I suspect it is because it can turn itself on when you hit "off".
So many reviews for this product say they're horrible and not worth your time or money. I disagree. If you go into this knowing they're $21 Calipers and by being $21 aren't going to perform the same as a pair of Mitutoyo Absolute Calipers which cost 10x as much, you'll find these useful enough for measurements where 0.1mm is good enough.Seriously, If you're just a regular person who needs to know how big, wide or deep something is and you're not a machinist (seriously who in their right mind would trust these for precision machine work), these are great. Chuck them in your tool box, use them to score lines, use them to verify the dimensions of a bolt you're trying to replace, whatever. I will admit there are some lemons on the shelves, but you can solve that by ... MoreSo many reviews for this product say they're horrible and not worth your time or money. I disagree. I will admit there are some lemons on the shelves, but you can solve that by opening it in store, checking it and returning it for a different pair if they're obviously off. Heck, you can dramatically improve how they feel by disassembling, polishing and lubricating anywhere metal touches metal, make your $21 Calipers feel like $51 Calipers. They're fine. Don't beat on them and don't rely on them to build spaceship parts and they'll serve you well.
Had this for around a year now. (Hopefully under as it's going back today.)It has actually worked pretty well, especially for $20... right up until I went to use it today. Now it's off it's rocker, jumping from a few mm (true measurement) to 180, 320, 600 plus in the space of a cm or two!First thought was changing the battery... No difference!!!*Update* Sliding it in and out, really fast, smashing it back into place seems to have fixed it. Hmmm, how do I take a product back that now appears to be working again!!!So I'll up it to 2*... based on price also.
I bought this for the ease of reading the digital output as opposed to my manual calipers. I can forgive the fact it doesn't always come back to zero (e.g., -0.02) but it depends on how much pressure you apply, and I only really need accuracy to 1 decimal place. What I don't like is when I close the calipers after taking a measurement to see how far off zero it is, and it is 5mm or 10mm off!!! Take multiple readings and check it goes back to around zero to check it hasn't skipped a beat.
I didn’t expect it to be this bad. This was the only digital caliper that was available. Wish I had read the reviews prior to buying. Generally I have always found that Bunnings had quality stuff. But this is beyond inferior. It comes in a sealed pack. Hence cannot check out before buying. And also cannot return. Bought at Edwardstown SA. Really disappointed.
