Bought a pair as it's all my local Bunnings had in stock and needed some 600mm ones that day. One snapped internally instantly, the catch trigger broke and won't close up and clamp. Can't believe it. I bought some DeWalt ones the next day from Mitre10 and they're superb, easier to use with one hand (these CR ones aren't smooth and not easy to use with one hand).The smaller Craftright ones are ok, but if you need bigger ones, stay clear of these, very weak clamping force and cheap mechanism. I've lost my receipt so I doubt they'll refund me. Can't believe Bunnings sell this brand, utter garbage.

These 'stick' when released and do not slide easily, making them awkward to use, and not 'quick', you're better off with F-clamps.As previous reviewer stated, couldn't try them in store due to packaging. I bought a pair of these a few years ago, the design hasn't changed. One broke yesterday and won't clamp anymore. They're cheap for a reason, I couldn't afford better ones at the time, but they should still perform longer and better than they do. I also bought a pair of the 600mm ones recently, stupidly, and one broke instantly, so I took them back. I won't buy Craftright products again.

I have several sets of these clamps and they work just fine. I was tempted to buy the more expensive offerings from Irwin but after using a mate's, I decided against it due to their 'harsh' feel. The main thing I like about the Craftright clamps is that they offer a little bit of flex when clamping which I actually find useful! Definitely not the best you can buy but for the money, they're great!
Love love love craftright. Affordable prices make learning new skills accessible to Aussies. Got this product and a bunch more, and so far no complaints, only praise. Thank you Bunnings for carrying these
They look like clamps, but they don't do up firm, it's not about massive clamping force, they just won't stay shut the whole way, you tighten them up and they always come back a little bit, so they'll sort of hold two things together, but not enough to stop them moving or hold them in place. Spend a little more to avoid disapointment.
Bought this a week ago for a small cabinet project, being new didn’t realise the size from my online purchase. These are small. Works great for clamping 2 pieces of boards. Do not expect to clamp down to a work horse. Worth the money.
Very difficult to slide the clamp along the bar. It seems to stick and requires some force to adjust the position of the clamp. This is supposed to be a quick release version of a clamp but it too fiddly to adjust to be labelled that. I tried the Irwin version in the store and it moved easily. The Craftright version cannot be tried in-store due to the way in which it is packaged, so you cannot compare it with the Irwin one in-store. My advice is to pay the extra and get one that works easily and well: ie the Irwin clamp.
Check they work before purchase. One clamps trigger gets stuck. The other clamp is perfect. Great clamp force and hold when it does work though.
At a third of the price of the equivalent quick grips these are a pretty decent buy, although you'll be pulling your hair out at the little rubber grips on the jaws constantly coming off so recommend either gluing those or using a bit of carpet tape on them. In terms of clamping strength they seem comparable to the regular duty quick grips, I also like that they're a bit less bulkier and lighter. Removing the jaws is a lot more clunky than the quick grips so if you're likely to be doing that a lot might be worth spending a bit more and getting the quick grips. The jaws are also fixed so less versatile then the quick grips in clamping non parallel surfaces but that's not something I do often, all in all they get the job done, but absolutely do glue/tape the grips on.
