They're cheap and get the job done. I'm not sure they actually break anymore than any other drill bits I've bought (timbers in my house are old and rock hard), but it's cheaper to buy this set just for the small bits than it is to buy a couple individually.The case isn't very good though in my opinion, but for the price you get what you pay for.

I was drilling through soft wood and broke two separate 2mm bits.I've been working with wood for most of my life and have never had issues with other brands.The drill bits feel lightweight and perform as you'd expect for $20.Regardless of the titanium oxide coating the bits have, the HSS (High Speed Steel) underneath should at least last a little longer than a few holes I was able to drill before breaking. The steel seems to be of low quality.I would only suggest this if you're hoping to drill a few holes.

Drill bits are what you'd expect for $20, but you get plenty of the small ones so who cares if you snap a few.My issue is the included case is useless. The compartments don't stay sealed enough to stop the bits rolling around and mixing up, and the latch is loose enough if it drops the small bits can fall out through the gaps.

Worked perfect for me, although have only used a couple of them so far. Drilled through some wood and plastic. Only problem was the smallest drill bit was too small to be held by my drill... but not at all a fault with the product. Excellent for the price I would say.
I bought this set as i needed some drill bits after i snapped my older ones. To be honest, i had my doubts about this, but after getting the set, i cannot be more wrong. I have drilled through thick MDF, aluminium and mild steel with this, and with lubrication, drilled through. Although it did take a while, but think i need a better drill to go with these. Even comes with a neat carrying case.
I have bought 4 of these sets now. They've invaluable for my field repair work, no more trying to sharpen a tiny drill bit on the cordless grinder, just chuck it and pull another new one out of the box! They're hard enough to drill through bolts and other harder metals and get most jobs done, honestly a lot better bits than I thought they would be for the money!
Great set of drill bits, super cheap, good range and does the job. Although it doesn’t really go through steel. Also the box it comes with isn’t very good
These are not bad for getting you out of a jam. Glad there’s lots of them in the set because the do tend to occasionally warp but mostly just snap. Not bad for applications like soft wood or aluminium. If you’re not living on a pay check week to week and want something for harder wood or metal this is not what you are looking for.
Great range of drill pieces and sizes. Comes in a handy carry case and will meet my needs quite well. Great for the handy person who needs a wide range of drill bits. Quality wise - good but don't expect them to see you through the heavy stuff.
Bought on the weekend as i had lost quite a few of my smaller bits in my good quality set. As the smaller sizes tend to snap before they blunt in my experence i was happy with the number of spares. Used the smallest bit in 12mm ply for about 10 holes performed well. Wouldnt recommend for steel but for soft wood seems to work fine.
