Adaptable trousers with a useful array of pockets.

Adaptable trousers with a useful array of pockets. I have worn Kiwi trousers for years and found them hard-wearing and long-lived. The convertible trousers are even better in my opinion, converting easily to a decent pair of shorts when needed.

Another pair of Kiwi trousers!

I've worn Craghoppers Kiwi trousers for decades and they are constantly reliable. My only criticism is that the hand pockets are not deep enough. Anything kept there is liable to fall out if I'm indulging in vigorous activities especially as the openings are almost vertical rather than horizontal. Having two secure zipped pockets means I can keep keys in one and cash in the other.

Classic trousers. Perfect Length zipped on & off.

Classic convertible trousers. Length when converted just above knee and wide enough so it is both comfortable and doesn’t get in the way when climbing uphill. In contrast to the Pro version which were too tight on the leg and in the way walking up stairs. Also pockets more suited to my requirements over the Pro, with large cargo pocket and four pockets at the front, 2 with zips.Convertible zips easy to use and clearly identify which legs goes where.

Craghoppers Kiwi Convertible Pants
18 March 2021

I am very pleased with these pants. Very well thought out with 2(!) rear zippered and 2 large zippered front pockets two large front slash pockets, right side cargo pocket and phone pouch inside the cargo pocket, key carabiner tab on right front belt loop, reinforcement tape on at the heels. 65% polyester/35% cotton fabric and relaxed fit is extremely comfortable. 2 minor downsides: 1. My Pacsafe wallet fits snugly in the rear pocket and the tiny zipper pulls are difficult to open behind my back far enough to pull the wallet out. For travelling in areas with expert pickpockets that's great but I added some 1.5mm Dynema cord pulls that make it easy to open the rear pocket zippers. 2. Cut all wrong
14 February 2024

I have used Craghopper walking trousers for ages. Something has changed. Material etc all good but the cut seems wrong. The relaxed fit is far to baggy and the standard fit is hipster style and not suitable for active walking.

I LOVE MY CRAGHOPPERS
15 August 2024

I've worn Craghoppers for many years. Well designed, plenty of pockets, durable and above all very comfortable. Great to be able to transform trousers into shorts - practical and versatile. I love my Graghoppers - all five pairs of them!

Keeping nuts properly (minus the nut cracking)
29 March 2021

Here’s the thing. I ordered a ton of types, and picked these for many reasons. The pockets are abundant, great. Zippered dorkiness, utilitarian, even zippered pockets or bungeed interiors really come in handy. They stretch for comfort and come with a removable belt, helpful. Waterproof enough for a soft yet durable material, I scoped all extensively. Go Brits across the pond! These are well made without the skimping of other brands...i.e. they’ll keep yer nuts warm with room to wiggle ; ) unlike the other brands of similar size.I might ONLY recommend these, period, except everyone is different. Will wear them to the bone with the ole boot scoot. Get just a size larger to layer underneath, if not, belt it.Thanks REI, stay classy, be real, and continue promoting ... MoreHere’s the thing. Perfect for a Summer week in the alps
22 August 2023

I already owned the classic kiwi trousers, and I bought these for a trip to the alps in summer so that I could zip off if they were too hot. They were absolutely perfect for the ever-changing weather conditions in the alps. Most of the time at lower altitude I wore them as shorts, but when we got high up or stopped for longer breaks I would zip the legs back on to stay warm.I really appreciated not having to carry shorts and trousers separately, as space and weight were at a premium. They’re made of exactly the same sturdy material as the original kiwi trousers, which is to say they feel like they’ll last a lifetime.Great value for money and I’d recommend them to anyone looking for a very versatile walking trouser.

Practical utilty trousers
18 September 2023

Good quality, hard wearing trousers, delivered quickly. The zipped pockets are really useful andthe large side pocket is ideal for a smart phone, passport or even a map. Being able to convert them is useful for outdoor pursuits with changeable weather. They are quick to dry and comfortable. I've been buying them for 20 years and haven't been disappointed.

They're great, but...
7 April 2024

Great products, been using them for years and really like the zip-off trousers. However, they are very expensive compared to many other brands which is disappointing. The other point is their description of colour! What is "bark", or "elephant" just tell me please, grey, dark grey or green.
