I bought these because I ride my fat bike all winter and wanted the larger form factor to accommodate winter boots. I have used them for 1 year (4 seasons) and ridden over 2500kms on a variety of terrain, on snow/mud, thru water, from -30C to +30C.They have performed well and the grip is good. The larger size works well with a winter boot but doesn't hinder performance with a smaller light hiking shoe. There is what appears to be an aluminum bushing on the crank-end of the shaft and this is starting to oxidize (no longer spins smoothly). It got so bad that one of the pedals seized up and I had to take it apart, free it up, and use a machine oil to get it turning without too much friction. For a pedal in this price range this is very disappointing and I am concerned about the longevity of them. For comparison my road pedals use a similar design but that bushing is stainless steel.If it weren't for the large platform, I'd not recommend these as I think there are better value pedals on the market.

I bought a set of Stamp 7’s, 6 years ago (~8200 dirt miles). They have been smashed so many times they have changed color from black to raw silver. I have replaced pins 4 times and rebuilt the axle once. There is no reason other than cosmetic for me to be here buying another set right now.I should channel Kramer and keep running them to know just how far they can go.

Really nice pedals for bike trials. Large and low profile platform, decent weight. Unable pins. Just really awesome pedals. Despite their high asking price, I will probably also end up getting another set for my mtb, currently rocking old revell pedals as they also have a gigantic platform, but battered and heavy.

These replaced my DMR V8 pedals on my Giant Trance and completely changed my confidence in flat pedals! Your feet just stick, only issue i have is when setting off, they grip your shoes too well and i find myself having to take my foot completely off the pedal instead of shuffling it. Would definitely recommend for any rowdy riding. Pricey but 100% worth it so far
I've had the pedals for 6 months now. I've been happy with them. Grip is good and they look good too. The problem is the long term durability. We all hit rocks with pedals, right? that's gonna happen. I bought 2 sets of replacement pins when i bought these pedals (for an extra $30 buck) so that i could replace damaged pins from pedal strikes. I'm really good about maintaining components on my bike, and I've already cleaned and degreased the pedals several times. BUT... yesterday i wanted to service the pins and found that the damaged pins are VERY DIFFICULT to remove. It's a design problem. I used pliers and even tried to get them out with a drill bit (hurting my hand when the small bit broke). My last 2 sets of pedals were DMR Vaults and those pins come in fromthe ... MoreI've had the pedals for 6 months now. I've been happy with them. Grip is good and they look good too. So if you like to maintain your components and make them last a long time, i'd stay away from these pedals. but if you are ok with knowing these will not be easy to refurbish and make like new by replacing the pins, then these would be great because the actually grip really well when the pins are new.
If you disassemble the pedal, remove the bushing that caps the spindle and slowly hand sand off a couple thousandths of an inch at a time from the closed end of the bushing, the pedal will spin more freely. Pros: pedal spins crazy fast. Cons: the pedal needs disassembly for cleaning / lube more often from less pressure on inboard seal. Dumonde Tech Lite.
Best pedals on the planet, hands down. I've gone through a handful of other pedals: HT ANS10's, Chesters, Canfield Crampons (second fav of the bunch), Truvativ... Every other pedal I've ridden, compared to these, are like a candle compared to the sun. That might sound like an exaggeration, but seriously, they're that good. Worth every penny. Especially when you consider that they've out lasted each of the aforementioned pedals by a long shot. I've ridden the entire winter season with them and they still don't even feel fully broken in; they have no play whatsoever even after months of mud and grime.Oh, and they have grip for days. I have size 13 EEEE feet. These fit the width of my feet extremely well. There is a LOT of real estate on these pedals. Lol. My feet stick to them very well as the adjustable studs provide amazing grip. There is no subtle shifting of my feet on them, it's a purposeful readjustment.I like the fact that they can be torn down and maintained easily. I can highly recommend these pedals. They are with the price.
I purchased my first set of the Stamp 7 Small Dark Green pedals in June 2023 when I purchased my new green MTB. I liked these pedals so much that I purchased another set for the new green gravel bike that I purchased in June 2024. Well-designed, solid construction, durable, excellent grip with my flat pedal shoes, and stylish. A bit expensive but, if you are a person who prefers to buy quality and buy it once, these pedals represent good value.
I've only got a few rides on these pedal but so far but I'm very impressed. These are an upgrade from stamp 1 large pedals. I wear a size 12 5/10 freerider shoe I installed these right out of the box with the stock pin configuration and my foot feels like it is velcroed to the pedal. The grip is just right I can adjust my foot position while riding without feeling like I have to lift my foot off and reposition it back on the pedal. Having a larger wider foot I didn't like the feeling of other pedal because I could feel my foot hanging off the end of the pedal. The large size offers ample room for my foot to be completely supported and offers a solid platform. The stamp 1 pedals just weren't what I needed for the type of riding I do. I can tell you if you have a larger shoe size and want that planted feeling of being connected to the bike without being clipped in the stamp 7's are well worth the price and you won't be disappointed.
