Yesss, I wish I had had these when I was a kid. I know, like most everyone else, whenever coloring, which I've always enjoyed and still do, coloring people was always a frustrating thing. In fact it still is. You had to choose between a white crayon and everyone looked like ghosts, and orange-y color, which looked ridiculous, brown and black, which truly was the most absurd of all. Now these colors have come out and you can really color people to look like they really do. People are not white or black. People come in several shades and beautiful colors and these reflect that. Wonderful for children to be able to have these choices. I would buy again and again for my kids and myself.

As a first grade student teacher, I absolutely loved having these crayons available for my students. It makes me very happy that there are crayons that represent a variety of skin tone colors so that my students feel represented in their drawings and stories. The packaging is very compact and small, making it great to fit into students' desks. The crayons last a long time and are very durable for the price. Overall, I would HIGHLY recommend these!

I like the new crayons because it helps to add to the pictures that you or your child may want to color. There are 24 crayons that give you or your child more than one option to pick from. I like that it gives more realistic skin tone colors, that are colors are able to blend and are buildable. The packaging is adorable with pictures of cartoon children of many different complexions. I like that these crayons are nontoxic and safe for children, I do wish that there were 2 to 3 more options for children that have a very dark complexion to feel represented in this box. Overall I love the fact that crayola has made more colors for children to color more realistic pictures that look like them. đ
When they have 1-2 in stock and no idea when theyâll get more, the stores should be directing you to their website to buy more than 1-3 items of anything, but they do NOT, because they want you to buy it from their store NOT online! Mastermind almost lost a sale of 31 packs (total) of these crayons because of the store not telling me to go online and order but actually told me to go into the store DAILY to see if they receive more, because they never know what they receive in their orders SMFH! So, I called 1-888-948-7203 and got Angela, and she was beyond helpful, TYVM to her! I will shop online ONLY from now on and NEVER at the stores again! THANK YOU! It was a pleasure and you helped an entire class of SKâs learn about ethnicities properly! Also, the price is 1/3 of the cheapest price that I could find anywhere in Canada, so another TYVM for that! Iâm very pleased with the service and my purchase from shopping online a MasterMind! I wish I could post photos, because it was absolutely amazing to see what the kids showed what they learned in their drawings using ONLY these crayons! TYVM MasterMind!
These crayons have to be the blandest pallet of colors I have ever seen. I understand the concept however, I donât think itâs of any use to buy this box unless your child is really into this spectrum of color. Mine were / are not. They are nice to hold and the colors are smooth but that is about all they liked about them. Very unappealing colors. To me, this box is about as useful as buying something that you need for one day, and then never using it again. No one really wanted to try them because other than coloring people, they didnât really feel like there was any need for these crayons when they had an entire box, ( and or boxes ) of the whole spectrum of colors.I think Crayola should just stick to their original idea of many colors of crayons and many shades ... MoreThese crayons have to be the blandest pallet of colors I have ever seen. I love the idea of sharing the variety of human skin tones. It's beautiful and inclusiveBUTNegative review for packaging. It may have seemed like a practical choice putting half the colors on one side and half on the other. On the other hand, it reinforces a binary light/dark idea that could implant the seeds of black/white racism. Consider adding diversity to your package design team - this issue would have stood out immediately
It's been 65 years since my 1st coloring experience with Crayola Crayons. In the days of my youth, (1950's) children thought coloring the skin on the people in our coloring books, using any of the primary and secondary colors at our disposal, was perfectly acceptable. To see a person with one green leg,1 yellow leg, purple arms and a bright blue face on the finished page, simply meant that we were using our imaginations.By the time my sons were born in the 1970's & 80's, there was a huge increase in the variety of skin color choices. Still there were many children in the classroom whose skin tone did not match any of the colors set before them. For that reason, I am pleased to see Crayola offer this box of 24 Colors Of The World Crayons. Even more so, when I witnessed the children at my sister's daycare center holding the crayons against their arms or legs to see which of the 24 color shades would best match their skin.I really appreciate that Crayola has continued to maintain a standard of high quality where the manufacturing of their Crayons is concerned. I currently have grandchildren in grade school and I plan to gift several boxes of these Colors of the World Crayola Crayons to each of their teachers!.
