Crayola Play N Fold Art Studio

This table is cute, small and light. Easy to snap together, no tools required. My grand daughter loves it. Easy to move around. I was interested in using outside for painting, water paint should wash off plastic easily. And using inside for other projects, etc. I am pleased with this purchase.

Perfect for my very talented 2 year old! Except the stool is very light weight and kind of unstable but she rarely sits on it anyway.... that was why I got her an easel in the first place.....so that she could stand and paint! But here she is sitting on it in the picture. Besides that I like the fact it has a chalk board on one side with a large paper clip on the other and that it folds into a desk. Very pleased with purchase all around.

Christmas Gift

I purchased this as a Christmas gift for my 2-year-old grandson. It does list it is for ages 3-8, however, my grandson already loves to draw and is careful with the crayons, pens, and markers he already has - this simply gives him a more convenient spot to store them in as well as his own, personal spot to create art. (My refrigerator is covered with his drawings!)I did show the image on the box to his parents and they were both pleased and impressed by the colorful, sturdy look of the stool and easel. We are all having a hard time waiting until Christmas, to see my grandson's expression when he opens his new art studio! Just as the image shows, it is made in primary colors - yellow, red, green, and blue which makes it helpful in teaching colors, as well.

I purchased this for my 2 year old daughter for Christmas. She enjoys coloring and I really wanted to see her color on something other than our living room walls. I put this item in my remind me list thinking I would be able to find a better value at other stores. I wasn't able to do that. I went to many other stores and websites and I found similar easel's that were high priced, around $40-$50. I decided to buy this online and received my order very fast. It ships in it's original box so if this is meant for a gift, the surprise will be ruined. It doesn't come with any art supplies other than a few sheet of papers, which is okay because chalk is around $1 and crayons are really inexpesive. The set up was very easy and my daughter loves it. It's easy to be cleaned ( I use regular baby wipes). All in all, this was a great product at a great price and I definately got my money's worth.

Good sizr for a 3 year old, but too light.

The size of the desk and stool are perfect for a 3 or 4 year old. Was very easy to put together. My only complaints: The trays for crayons, etc. could be a little deeper or bigger. When the child flips from easel to chalkboard, the whole thing leans back. I had to teach my grandchild how to hold the bottom down when she wants to change from one side to the other. Also when flipping from easel to chalkboard or vice versa, it does not glide easily for a small child...she had to really put some "muscle" into it. I think the designers failed on those two areas...should glide back and forth easily, and the base or sides should be heavy enough to keep the desk in place when the child flips from one thing to the other. Great buy for Toddler Desk

I bought this for my 18 month old grandchild. She loves it. She stores things in the storage compartments and has learned to hold a crayon using her perfectly sized desk. It doesn't take up much room and is very functional. Can be used as an easel or a desk. I was considering a larger, more expensive desk, but I'm glad I went with this one. I think she will be able to use it for another two years. Again, considering the price, I think that is great.

Great for claim children

I want to point out that I bought this when it was $17. and I would have spent up to maybe $20. I WOULD NOT SPEND MORE THAN $20. ON IT, but that's my opinion.If your child uses this toy for it's intended purpose and doesn't abuse it then it will likely outlive your child's interest in it ... however, if your child is rowdy and destructive then this toy will not last long.It is easy to assemble. Just pop the pieces in place. Great value, holds up extremely well.

I bought 2 of these almost 2 years ago and we are STILL using them. Works great as a little table with a flat top or in the easel position. My 5 and 6 year old girls use them even more now than when I first purchased them. Nothing has broken off and all the parts are still here, which is amazing in our home. I think this is probably the only thing they own that has held up for 2 years. My kids have even used them to climb up on it and jump off,(which I DO NOT recommend) and it is still in perfect condition. It does come apart sometimes when they are abusing it, but so easy to put back together that they can do it themselves. The price is incredible and they are easy to fold to keep out of the way when needed. Perfect for Outside

I bought this so that my son can paint outside now that it is getting warm. It's small and easy to move, and it has a clip to keep the paper secure if the wind blows. We fold it down and use it as a table for snacks when we aren't painting. Everything is plastic so it can be hosed down after painting.

Perfect kids easel!

Although I order this around Valentines day and it didn't arrive til over a week later, it is a wonderful easel. For the price, $17.00, you really can't beat it. I like that it is more simple then other easels I have looked at which makes it easier to tuck away and to move from room to room. Assembly took no more than 10 minutes and it came with an eraser for the chalkboard which is nice. Now I use washable markers and crayons so I dont know how easy it would be for regular crayons and markers but it is so easy to wipe down with either a wet cloth or I use lysol wipes to disinfect it as well and it does not ruin the chalkboard. This makes it prone to slipping when trying to sit on it, but only if used on hard, slippery surfaces. I have finished hardwood floors and I have to help him sit on it so it doesnt slide out from under him. I forget the max age limit but I have an incredibly tall two year old boy that is the average height of a three year old and I dont see it fitting him past 3 1/2 or sooner. This is not typical though for other people so if you do have a tall son or daughter than I would just advise to not go by the max age limit. Other than this it is a great product that is definitely worth the price!
