Crayola Washable Watercolors 8 Colors

My toddler loves to draw and paint: paper, himself, the walls, etc. He's an artist...what can I say? We both love these paints. He loves the bright colors and the added interest of shiny glitter! (The glitter adheres very well to the paint and paper, so no worries about sparkles haunting your home after cleanup.) The paint consistency is fantastic. Not too wet nor too dry. Perfect colors and consistency for heavier paper. Application is smoother than smooth. I love how well they wipe off of surfaces and wash out of clothes! Thoroughly washable. Paint brush cleanup is a breeze. I usually set him at the table with a brush directly in each paint pot and let him go!

I'm 30 and I'm absolutely in love with this watercolor set. I haven't had to test if it's washable on soft surfaces and fabrics, but it comes off a white table easily if wiped immediately with a wet wipe. The watercolor is highly pigmented, and 16 colors are enough for home crafting. The colors mix well with each other on a plastic palette. It dries quickly but provides enough time to fix mistakes on the drawing. Excellent value for money. The low price is probably due to the very basic packaging, but I don't see why you'd need anything more for home paints.

I don't know who loves this more- my granddaughter or me (she said she does though)! The colors are very vibrant and the bottles are big enough for many projects. Whether she uses a brush or (often) uses her fingers, there's never a worry because it cleans up quickly and completely. I put the water bottle behind the set in the picture just to show you the size of the bottles-- very generous. It goes on easy and without clumps so her projects are always just perfect (from an unbiased grandma's point of view of course☺). You won't be disappointed buying this because you'll get the same Crayola quality as you've known over all the years. We have already ordered more for upcoming Christmas projects and also bought several for church to use on shoebox gifts

This water color set is good, if you're looking for something temporary. This water color set won't last very long but it will resolve. The paints aren't very smooth and they almost have a grainy feel to them. I would recommend these if you are under the pressure of getting an urgent water color set for any reason. Other than all stated I wouldn't recommend unless urgent. They're cheap, and fragile, but what can you expect. Its price is nice, 3/5 but maybe you're opinion will be different. Try these out, give 'em a chance!

These are great paints for both children and adults. I've started painting with my kids, and these are the watercolors we choose. There's a variety of colors to choose from, and they're so pretty and bright. We've started experimenting with blending colors together to create our own new colors. The paint dries down quickly. It's so easy to wash the paint off of the kids after we're done with our crafts.

I have used these with kids art classes and they are wonderful for teaching kids about the color wheel and blending and mixing colors. They are very good for beginners with the essential rainbow palette but can be used by older artists as well. Very easy to clean out with a damp sponge when your kid makes a mess and very portable and easy for on-the-go. In my experience, there is no staining on clothing or tables, which is a great perk too!

Good Quality Paint

The paint is great, but the brushes are unreliable for someone like me, who is serious about their art project. The brush in the kit sheds onto the painting continuously, so you might want to consider purchasing a better grade paint brush for this kit. Walmart sells really good paint brushes for under five dollars, and that usually includes more than one bush. I don't advise searching for a different brand of watercolor paint in expectation of getting a better brush because generally speaking, it is next to impossible to get a good quality brush in a watercolor set, and from my experience Crayola watercolor paint is the best. I have sold many watercolor paintings professionally.

I cant believe how flimsy the paint tray is. It’s made of paper thin plastic. Also the amount of paint in each well is deceivingly tiny. I guess it’s because the sets are so mass produced to accommodate an ever growing population of small children. The good news is the paint is non-toxic and washable. I am recommending this product only for children and not so much for terns and grownups who really want to paint some serious stuff. I bought it as a supplement to my Chinese Brush Painting hobby.
