Creality Ender-3 V3 KE 3D Printer

$305.60

(702 reviews)

The Creality3D Ender-3 V3 KE is a 3D printer that combines speed, affordability, and ease of use. It is known for its high printing speed, reaching up to 500 mm/s, which is double that of the Ender 3 V3 SE model. The Ender-3 V3 KE is open-source and supports Klipper software, which significantly improves print quality at high speeds. Additionally, it features automatic bed leveling and can set its own Z height, making it extremely user-friendly and beginner-friendly. The printer features Creality's best extruder and hotend: the Sprite extruder from the S1 and the high-flow ceramic heated hotend from the K1. Furthermore, the Ender-3 V3 KE supports a maximum printing speed of 500 mm/s and is equipped with a linear rail on the X-axis, minimizing vibrations at high speeds. The hotend on the KE, which can reach up to 300°C, is suitable for high-temperature filament types such as nylon. Additionally, it includes a PEI bed surface, achieving a balance between adhesion and ease of print removal.

This is the 3rd 3d printer I have owned. The first was a Monoprice Mini (print bed was too small) and the second was a Creality CR-10. I use the CR-10 all the time and for the most part it works great. What interested me with this printer was the speed, the auto leveling, and the price. So far my experience has been amazing. It took 30 minutes to setup. A benchy model that came on the USB drive printed in 20 minutes and has no artifacts, no ringing, first layer attachment was amazing, overhangs were great. Compare that to my CR-10 it would take over an 1.5 hours to print the same thing. That is awesome! So far so good.

Very worth the price.

What can I say this is probably the best value purchase I’ve ever made. I’ve just entered the 3D printing space with this printer being my first purchase and so far the impressions are very positive. The device was easy to set up and I was printing right after the first calibration finished. There are bus loads of YouTubers who have reviewed this device and they include their own tips and tricks to getting the most out of your device. You also get a spool of filament in the box (that’s not something I was able to see on the store page but maybe I missed it) so if you want to buy a seperate spool once you’re comfortable it’s not necessary to buy one with the unit. Using Creatily Print to slice and send the file to the machine over wifi is so handy to have and it ... MoreWhat can I say this is probably the best value purchase I’ve ever made. Using Creatily Print to slice and send the file to the machine over wifi is so handy to have and it looks like there’s plenty of spare parts available to buy which is great for right-to-repair.Overall for the price it seems like it’s a very capable machine. The ONLY con I’ve had is I’m missing a bracket in the box that was supposed to hold down the electrical wires to the hot end to stop them from splitting but no biggy, I have it held in place with a cable tie and I can 3d print a bracket ;)

Finally gave in and ordered this as a replacement for my Ender 3 Pro. What a difference! No more messing around with the sheet of paper and remembering which way to turn the height adjustment screws. I gladly accept the extra time needed for auto alignment. The cables have been tidied up too for a cleaner look. Dual Z rods - very nice.I went through the calibration exercises just to learn that the printer was already set to the optimal settings. Even at 0.2 mm the quality of the prints is astounding. Print speed is at least 5x that of my old printer.Negatives: The bed level sensor rattles for no good reason when the fan is running. Slightly annoying. My biggest gripe is with the display and its poor contrast, as well as the missing "Remaining time" information ... MoreFinally gave in and ordered this as a replacement for my Ender 3 Pro. [Rewarded Review] Great 3D printer and worth the upgrade from SE.
29 December 2023

Glad I got the KE because the wireless upload of print files is so much better than dealing with SD cards. KE has a few more features that makes spending more than SE a better decision. I have printed dozens of items, had a few hiccups learning temps for various brands and types of filament but results have been much better than the Ender 3 PRO that this replaced. It's still 3D printing so you have to put time in to learn regardless of what printer or brand you buy. The quality mark I gave was due to having to go over and tighten/adjust things and replaced a couple of screws that were too short that let the linear rods rattle.

Got the bug to jump on the 3d printing bandwagon. Did tons of research. Was looking for value, quality and wanted wifi connectivity to be able to send prints to the printer wirelessly. This printer hit the mark on all 3. Price was excellent for a machine with wifi. I have joined several fb groups for this model and brand along with a Creality beginners group. I’ve noticed people with 5is machine having issues. I think it’s because you really need to be knowledgeable when changing settings as a slight change to a setting can really screw things up so usually user related. Since I’ve taken this machine out of the box, I have not only had zero issues, my prints are coming out pretty flawless. [Rewarded Review] No USB connection and Creality Print is awful
15 August 2024

I have always heard great things about Creality, so when my 5 year old Anycubic Mega-s finally gave out I figured I would go with this but this thing is a headache. I am not a hobbiest and look at a 3D printer as if it is any other tool in my shop but this seems to be more of a toy than a tool. First complaint is that you can not connect it to a computer via USB so that leaves you with using a jumpdrive or putting a device you have no control over what goes in or out on your network. I ended up using my isolated IoT network for it but now I have to switch the networks on my computer that I use to run it so I can access all of my STL files on my server on my home network. So now that I have it talking to a computer so I can start sending prints I run in to the biggest reason I would not recommend this printer and that is the Creality software, so far it is the only software that will recognize this printer, if I could just connect it to Cura life would be so much better. The Creailty software is hard to use, missing a lot of settings that are important ( or are buried deep in the awful UI). I have tried to print 50 or so things since setting it up and over half of them fail because Creality print will randomly change the filament profile when it reopens after crashing. Oh yeah, did I mention it crashes a lot, It crashes any time you try to open an STL.I really thought that 3D printers would be easier to use than when I got my first one 5 years ago, because things like auto leveling beds fixed the only real issue I had with the old one before it died. Unfortunately that is not the case, at least for creality.

This is a great little printer. The printer's first layer is almost flawless. While not having to manually level the bed, like I do with my older Creality CR-10s printer, is a great thing. I have printed 4 upgrades for this printer and the LED light kit as well as a pair of the ADXL345 Vibration Compensation Sensors have all been ordered and on their way. The only real complaint I have with the KE is that you cannot connect wired to the internet or a PC. Two other small annoyances are not being able to connect up to the New Sonic Pad. I mean you can connect, but, you have to do it through the serial port, on the back of the Nebula Pad, not a usb port. And the other is the Spool holder on the gantry top.
