Creed Millesime Imperial Spray 100ml

You already know or soon you will know the house of Creed puts out some great fragrances, and this one is in the top 10! If you like a dominant green tea note, a combo of citruses, combo of bergamot and mandarin orange. Then you have to own this! After the dry down, the scent continues to be fresh with a beautiful musk. Some people say there’s an inky smell, I don’t smell that, but if I had to guess it’s probably from the dominant green tea note. I think it’s a great spring and summer fragrance and only gets better the longer it’s on your skin. Performance for me is 7 plus hours which is above average for a fresh scent. The price is on the expensive side, but it’s quality juice! Highly recommend!

Please ignore all of the reviews mentioning ‘Viking Cologne’ or any other mentions of a cologne. That is an entirely separate fragrance to Viking and is, in my estimation, a far worse one. Viking was hated upon its release because unlike Aventus in 2010, it didn’t revolutionise anything. It was safe, pleasant and entirely non offensive. Viking is my signature scent in the colder months, and is a go to fragrance when I need to project confidence and power. Monstrous projection, respectable performance and smells quite good. Not worth the price Creed is asking, but if you can find it on discount, it’s a great, spicy, barbershop scent. The old fashioned among you will immediately recognise a similarity to Old Spice, which is something I personally find very charming.

Only worn this during Spring/Summer, as it just does so well evoking that whole fresh meadow/grass/flowers blooming image. Projection and sillage is moderate so it won’t knock your co-workers over. Just gives them a hint of “wow, he smells nice.” A refined, sophisticated scent that’s easy to wear-me likey! Yes it’s a bit on the pricey side. Royal Water is delicious, fresh and clean with a somewhat soapy vibe. The basil and mint give it a medicinal, somewhat mysterious quality that makes it quite unusual. You won’t smell ordinary with this one. The citruses add a layer of freshness while the musk and ambergris create a soft smoothness to it all. The juniper definitely adds a gin scent making it smell like a very pricey cocktail at times. I fell in love with it upon first sniff. It's beautiful and definitely full bottle worthy. Not many comments about this but Royal Water is VERY soapy. It's one of the soapiest fragrances I ever smelled. But it's a goody soapy. Like vintage soapy. I love it.

As you can see with the blue cap, I happen to own a very rare vintage bottle of this. This is a masterpiece summer fragrance. As the title suggests, it is a very realistic coconut, whereas the citrus and ginger help bring it some freshness and zing. The lime, sugary notes and rum give it a very sweet/sugar cane mojito type of smell. Put that with the fresh coconut mentions before and you can already see how this is a masterpiece for hot summer heat, tropical travel and beachsides. The heat really does bring out the best of this and I find it changes quite a bit during the day in these conditions. I do wish the fragrance was longer lasting though. Don't be afraid to be generous with the trigger, as this is a very friendly fragrance that is not likely to offend anyone.

Fake Creed Green Irish Tweed

This item was a knock off. First is the sleeve in the box was the wrong color and slid out, Real Creed sleeves do not slide out. Second was the cap. It was of a cheaper quality and again had the wrong color on the inside. Third and most easily spotted was the production code on the bottom of the box. Real Creed has the code as part of the printing on the box, not a sticker like the one I received from this seller. The smell of this knock off was nothing like the real thing. Green Irish Tweed is a timeless classic. What I was sent smelled horrible. The only good thing was that it didn't last for more than a few minutes. I sent the product back and never received credit. Not a very reputable dealer. They know what they are doing.

No scent - Disappointed

I saved to purchase this cologne as a special treat to myself. I figured that both my husband and I could use. Each time I sampled it I fell in love. My son was getting is getting married and wanted a beautiful fragrance as I walked down the isle. Unfortunately I tried my fragrance on and 30 minutes later could not detect any scent. So I applied again using a bit more. The same occurred. My son and husband detected a FAINT scent. I’m not sure if the bottle is old but it definitely is not what I experienced when I sprayed the samples at the counter. As you know this fragrance is not cheap. I’m disappointed and will be returning ASAP to search for something else for the wedding. I own Love In White and that fragrance lasts ALL day.

Overtime as it dries down, you’re enveloped by a coconut essence which is smoothen by other ingredients such as ylang-ylang and Indian Jasmine. Personally, from using 4-5 sprays on the skin, this doesn’t last long (approx. 3-6 hours). However, keep in mind your skin type may allow the fragrance to latch on longer or even shorter than what I experienced. I experimented with vaseline and the fragrance remained fresher and longer for about 1-2 hours, so you could try this to see if the longevity improves for you. After 2-3 hours the scent becomes close to the skin so you wouldn’t notice it on me unless we’re standing face to face. Again, could be the skin type. So why am I giving this a 5/5 when the performance isn’t the greatest? Easy, its because its special to me. Whilst you can find a fragrance thats popular, sophisticated, and high performance, its a lot harder to find one that you thoroughly enjoy from start to finish because it brings back some special memories that only you would know (and maybe those whom you shared those memories with). So for me its a very nostalgic and sentimental scent. There are other limey and coconut like fragrance in the market, but none I’ve found is more to my liking than VIW. Conclusion~ VIW is a tropical fragrance that has really nice lime and coconut notes. Obviously perfect for summertime. Scent doesn’t seem sweet nor musky, so it works as a unisex fragrance. I can see this works for young and middle aged groups, both new and experienced to fragrances. Longevity and projection isn’t great compared to others like Aventus or Green Irish Tweed, but if you love it like I do, go for it. Just be mindful of the price.
