Cressi Pro Light, Black, XXL
Cressi Pro Light Fins in Black A highly advanced design for this fin is moulded from two materials with very different characteristics: a strong polypropylene for the blade and soft elastomers (thermo rubber) for the foot and protective inserts. The result is an extremely light and well-balanced fin, of average size, with surprising reaction time and a formidable thrust. The side stringers that extend all along the blade and two flaps situated along the end of the blade itself make the fin very directional. The blade originates from the upper part of the foot pocket, with a 20% increase in useful surface area compared to a traditional fin of the same length. The foot pocket is computer designed and guarantees ideal transmission of the leg-fin thrust. The lightness and perfect balance of the materials, together with the extremely modern design, make Rondine Pro Light a generous fin that provides exuberant performance without too much physical effort. These fins are perfect both for beginners and for professionals and are very common among instructors and technical divers. This company was recommended to me by a close friend who is an avid diver. I found the product selection to be wide and well-appointed. When comparing prices for items for items against other vendors, Divers Supply was always competitive.

As a beginner scuba diver, I wasn't sure what type of fins would be best, but I like the Cressi Pro Light's that I purchased. As far as sizing goes, I wear a size 9.5 regular shoe. I purchased the large Pro Lights and wear them with a 3mm bootie. They fit and function fine, but I probably could have gone with a medium fin instead. My foot goes almost all the way into the pocket and the heel straps are tightened as far as they can go. But they are snug and there is no slipping off my heel. For function, I love the power they provide. At first the fins felt a bit stiff, but after one dive I was used to them. They allowed for quick maneuvering with little effort. After 4 dives over two days, I never felt fatigued or cramped. I have size 10 US (42-43 Swiss) feet. I ordered the medium to large as per the size guide first and found them enormous even with my dive boots on. Ended up reordering the S/M and they fit great. Will dive with them for the first time in 2 weeks. I'll update if anything changes.

I bought these fins because of their price point and the positive reviews they have receivedI'll have to say that price is the ONLY good thing about these fins.- The main problem with Cressi Pro Lights is that they are made of cheap plastic that is way too stiff. When I tested them out in a pool I felt like there were 2 cardboards strapped to my feet. This hinders propulsion and maneuverability, while putting a lot of strain on the ankle.- The second problem is the design of the footbed, which has oddly shaped ribs on the inside. I think they are made to accommodate boots with a rubber sole, but if you are just wearing soft booties or dive socks they really hut your toes.- The above mentioned problems render the Cressi Pro Lights virtually unusable. I would recommend spending more money and upgrading to a better fin. They are just not worth it.
The fin is pretty hard, which makes it brilliant in a current, I have used a lot of worthless soft fins, they are worthless in current, tires you. Use this for frog kick and you will glide very easily. Very powerful fins. Since its pretty powerful, if you don't have good calf muscles, wouldn't recommend it. Diver with no muscle in this fin will get many cramps especially in scissor kicks, no problem with frog! Overall veryyy happy with these fins diving in strong current.
I like the construction, seem very well made. Have not used them yet but knocking off a star for hassle of sizing. I am a size 9 and using 3 mil surf booties with rubber reinforcement at the toe and heel. Granted, these are not as thick as some scuba booties but the MED/LG absolutely swallowed my foot, so I exchanged for the SM/MED (supposedly size 7-9). I am still able to pull on the heel strap maximally on both sides and my heel just barely sneaks past the back of the rubber heel on the fin. These are really too big for a size 9 even, and would be much too big for a size 7, which the SM/MED claims to be made for. I am going to keep them because they just do fit a size 9, but if my heel straps stretch much, I won't be able to tighten them any more because I am ... MoreI like the construction, seem very well made. Ill bet they will work great, but just know before you buy.
I'm a size 10 so naturally bought the size that ranged from 9-11. The foot pocket is definitely narrow. I have a slightly wider foot. My 5mm boots have a slightly wider sole than some boots, and are tough to get into the foot pocket. Ironically, my 6.5mm boots are easier to get into the foot pocket. Either way, within 10 minutes of diving my feet begin to hurt due to my feet gettin squeezed. I'm learning now after more diving and research that better fins have nicer, more comfortable foot pockets. That will be a priority for my next fin purchase. These are tough to snorkel in too, I believe due to their stiffness. They tend to kick out of the water while snorkeling. I've been snorkeling for over 20 years and had very cheap fins that were better for this purpose. ... MoreI'm a size 10 so naturally bought the size that ranged from 9-11. I've been snorkeling for over 20 years and had very cheap fins that were better for this purpose. However, I bought these for scuba, not snorkeling, so not a huge deal, but this may be important to you.I'll also be looking for a more advanced fin with softer material in the center of the fin for better efficiency. Then the other day I managed to somehow lose the part of the buckle that attaches to the FIN on one side. I've seen a lot of other reviewers have this problem as well. I'll bite the responsibility on that one though. I threw the fins up onto the rocks at one point, so I'm guessing that's when it popped off. Live and learn.
The fins are really good. Very light and easy to transport. It cost me a little to choose but in the end I made the right election. From the. At first I have noticed the difference with which. had. Displace. the water is pretty good and with a couple of leg strokes you are already at full speed. Very happy. With very buy, and I recommend them sincerely.
The order arrived in a very short time after placing the order. The snorkel fins are longer than expected and are excellent for navigating currents. They save on physical exertion providing more than adequate propulsion. These fins are an outstanding purchase at Cabela’s.
bought a pair of these and love them. My feet are big - 14, and Im using 5mm boots. Fit like a dream. Very easy to don and adjust. Sink like a rock, so don't lose em. Would buy again. quite powerful.
