I have very thick, curly, and coarse hair. I used this brush and Living Proof Restore oil and did a blow out! The results are almost as good as what I used to pay over $100 for in Dallas. I have some kinks to work out, but overall that's user error! It left me with great volume, no frizz, and it doesn't catch or pull the hair. The small pick stored in the end is very convenient and does a fantastic job sectioning hair. I highly recommend this brush.

I bought this to replace the same brand and model that I have been using for 8 or 10 years. It finally was wearing out. After several uses of the new one, I determined that the bristles do not fall out like a different brand that I recently tried. This size brush works well for smoothing and styling wet hair of medium length. It even has a pick to part off sections of hair. This protrudes from the end of the handle. My old brush had one but I never knew it because only a small bit protrudes. I bought that one in the store, not online. This one which I bought online mentioned the pick in the description.

Great brush for adding style and volume to your hair! Decreases drying time considerably. The hair pick in the handle is so convenient for separating hair into manageable sections. The bristles glide easily through your hair without tangling. 10/10 recommend!

Bought this brush to replace same one I bought 10 years ago. It was much cheaper at Walmart than it was from the original store Bought it from. Great brush! Works well on my thick curly hair.
I have naturally straight color treated hair. This hairbrush left my hair feeling so soft and healthy (Granted, it probably also had to do with the shampoo/conditioner I used). But this on top of it made such a difference!
I've had this brush for 4 years, originally bought from a hair salon. It was definitely time for a replacement. I'm not sure what changed over the last few years, but I don't have a static issue w/ my hair and the frizz was uncontrollable. Materials felt much cheaper as well compared to my previous version. The bristles and the metal core were both different.
The brush section of this item performs acceptably well, although it is hardly anything spectacular and is not by any means better than the higher priced round thermal brushes I've used in the past, and I've used a lot. The barrel also doesn't pull my hair out where it connects to the handle to the extent that a Spornette Prego hairbrush did. The issue is the handle. The rubberized grip that covers in the handle for some ridiculous reason is not one solid piece, but is actually two sections that constantly move apart until it feels like section close to the end of the handle is about to fall off, and I'm sure it would unless I kept stopping to try and retighten it, which only lasts about five second until it start separating again. This one will be going right back.
Love the volume I get with the Technique brushes. I use different sizes for different styles. Love the section pick. For a thermal, I won't use anything else. They hold up to my daily use, and I have had my 390 for several years.
I've had this brush for sooo many years. I bought it in my younger, stronger, fuller hair days. Now I'm in my 30s, and my hair has been gradually thinning with age. The rubber on top of the handle now snags my hair so much that I am fed up and buying a different brush. Beyond that, this brush is durable, long lasting and effective. Sadly, I have to give it one star because of the rubber. Sorry brush! I used to love ya. I wish I would have treated my hair a little better in my younger days by not using this brush.
This brush is really great! I had another round thermal brush and it was okay, I didn't get that smooth sleek finish that I was trying to get. My stylist uses this brush and he told me they are made in Korea and if I wanted to take care of my hair, it starts with the tools. Wow was he right, these brushes make all the difference in the world! I'm tempted to buy one of each size, but my husband might object lol
