I spent a lot of time thinking about buying a Cricut. Where, what model, do I really need one. I finally just bought my maker from the Cricut website and I am pleased to say I don't regret my purchase. The champagne color is beautiful and I am so excited about the world of crafting opportunities ahead of me with my Cricut.

I bought my Cricut less than a month ago, and signed up for a month's free trial of their subscription program, which gives you extra assets you can use in their software. At the time they assured me that I would still "always" be able to use my own designs for free, and this is exactly what I planned on doing. Now - less than a month after I bought my machine, and with the promise that it will "always be free" to upload your own designs still in their product descriptions - they have announced that the subscription will now be required for anyone wishing to upload more than 20 designs a month. 20 designs sounds like a lot, but bear in mind that a few revisions could easily end up using up a quarter of your monthly allotment or more, for a single design! This is absolutely ridiculous and, I'm pretty sure, a breach of Australian consumer law. I would return the machine if I hadn't already spent so much on materials that it feels like too much of a waste. I'm so mad.

purchased a Cricut Maker, product arrived within 4 days of ordering the machine. Since purchasing my Cricut I have personalized my drink bottle and my pets food biscuit tubs. With the online help no project is to big to complete. Cricut offers easy step instructions for loading the machine with the correct materials. Can not stop to start on my next project.
Machine was faulty after 3 days use. Getting it replaced was a nightmare. No one wanted to take responsibility.
I love my Cricut Maker (when it works). However, the bands on the machine keep dislocating causing my mats to go in sideways, messing up my mats and causing a jam and a lot of wasted time trying to shimmy them back into place. I've had this issue with two Cricut Makers now. I was able to get the first one replaced since it was still under warranty. The second one is past the warranty; I am not sure I want to purchase a third one just to keep having the same issue happen over and over again. I've seen this issue happen to a few other people, but I cannot figure out why it's happening. I've been a Cricut user for 7+ years so I know it's not a user error. I didn't have this issue at all with my previous Cricut explorer Air so maybe it's just the Cricut Maker? I love ... MoreI love my Cricut Maker (when it works). Although confirming twice with jb hi, this model is not the maker 3, it’s the original cricut maker. The new maker 3 starts with a M, where as the original starts with a Q.I was told and bought this machine thinking it was a 3 when it’s not.
Easy to set up and use. Perfect for papercrafting. Have wanted one of the for many years, finally bought one - and im so glad i did!
Best cricut machine ever, after using the joy the extra size is amazing and The buttons are so much better then the Bluetooth have hit go on the laptop thing the joy does.
I bought this machine to upgrade from the Joy...I am very pleased with my decision. I like that this machine connects via a cable to my computer rather than just using bluetooth. Easy to use once you get the hang of Design Space!
