Cricut Everyday Iron-On-Best HTV Ever!!!

I used the Cricut Everyday Iron-on (lilac) to make shirts for my family. They turned out great. It was easy to work with and it does not leave a heavy feel on the fabric. I even accidently dried one of the shirts in the dryer after it was worn, and I thought it was going to damage it for sure, but when I pulled it out of the dryer the htv did not crack or lift. I was impressed. My dryer gets pretty hot so I do not normally dry anything that I have htv on in fear that it will damage the item. I probably will not dry it again just to be safe but it did hold up. I have used other brands of htv that have not held up without drying them in a dryer. I highly recommend Cricut Everyday Iron-on.

I followed all instructions exactly as the site states, (pretty heat the fabric, use a cloth under the shirt, etc.) but I used the Ironing method, since I have an iron. Only part of the design stuck, I repeated the steps over to try and get the other part to stick, it would not. I layered the vinyl (my first time trying this) and it layered smoothly, without distortion. The product image on the website was true to actual product after application. After several washes, the vinyl has remained perfectly intact and the color remains the same as it was upon application. After this experience, I'll definitely be purchasing more of this iron-on vinyl but in a wider variety of colors. The price on this website was far better than others and the selection of Everyday Iron-On is vast. The quality and variety has allowed me to make many clever projects and expand my skill in this craft. Fun with making Onesie designs
5 September 2021

I had lots of fun creating customized onesie designs while expecting my first grandchild. The beautiful neutrals of gold (my favorite!), silver, black & white went perfectly with my customized designs. The vinyl was easy to work with. One trick if you make a mistake: just make a duplicate design, place directly on top of the good, and lift off while hot & it removes completely! You can make a third design - and it will be worth it; no waste of any blanks! I even bought a 2nd set because babies tend to grow.

I do agree with others that it is inconvenient to have to search for instructions, would be nice if they were on the package. This is the first time using my Cricut Maker and vinyl. My first mistake was to place it on the mat the wrong way and cut, not know which side was which. Not wanting to waste and this being an experiment. I simply replaced the vinyl the \"shiny side down\" and recut. I wouldn't recommend this since the liner got messed up but I was still able to use it. I had to be \"very careful\" weeding due to the liner being cut. I also used an iron on cotton setting to transfer my design to 100% cotton T-shirt. I used a folded towel as the heat pad. For a first try experiment, it actually turned out okay. Only one minor flaw in the application. Siser iron on Vinyl
11 January 2023

This is a great product!! I don't have a cricut machine but I work at a commercial print company and we were able to cut my design perfectly on it with our mimaki. Later I weeded the vinyl at home (which omg, I wish all vinyl weeded this easily and precisely! I was worried about the small wording that says (dot)) I used a regular iron since I don't own a heat press, I put it on the cotton setting and laid parchment paper over the cut graphic and waved the iron firmly over it for 15 seconds. After I peeled the backing off, I put parchment over it again waved the iron for an additional 15 seconds. I repeated this process for 4 shirts :) Definitely will be ordering this product again! This was a fun project.

Vinyl Peels Up, followed instructions to the T
26 September 2021

I bought six colors, plus the \"playroom sampler\" and every single time I've used it, regardless if with my heat press or regular iron, It keeps peeling up! I bought a white to do my daughters school shirts in and it peeled off less than an hour after I put it on the shirt. I've tried different materials, different heat temps, different heating elements, different heating times, etc. I've followed the instructions that are online and still no luck. I never had this problem with the other brands of vinyl, just the cricut brand, I wouldn't have spent the hundred and something dollars in cricut brand vinyl if I knew it wasn't going to stick to anything. Honestly wasn't worth the effort I've had to put into it and won't be buying cricut brand vinyl just for most of it ... MoreI bought six colors, plus the \"playroom sampler\" and every single time I've used it, regardless if with my heat press or regular iron, It keeps peeling up! Recently got a Cricut machine to make custom shirts. Ordered the bundle from Cricut so had a lot of sample material. At first I thought it was beginners error why my shirts weren’t coming out like I wanted. After spending hundreds on material I was at Michael’s and while in the Cricut aisle a woman told me about Siser and how much better it was. It’s a little more money but you get a little more so I tried it. I could not believe how much better it was! Cut better, peeled better and applied to the shirt better. Since then if I have to use my leftover cricut material I will but get so mad when it doesn’t work. So far I have had to toss material and shirts. When I got my Cricut Maker, I strictly used Cricut HTV. I recently needed the color white in a pinch, so I ran to Walmart to get their brand (Cricut white wasn't in stock at the store). Cricut material has EASY instructions on how to use their vinyl. If you follow the instructions, you won't have a single problem. Make sure you have the correct side facing down on the mat before cutting, and mirror your image. It's really easy to weed. Iron the material before placing the vinyl. Use recommended settings with your press or an everyday clothes iron. If you're using a shirt, turn it over and iron the backside. Turn it back over, let it cool enough to touch, peel slowly (I suggest from corner to corner and peel low and backwards, not upwards). The Walmart version is the brand I had an issue with. The vinyl did not want to stick using this method. it would peel up off the shirt after project was thought to be done. Took some wax paper to cover the vinyl and ironed the vinyl to ensure it adhered. Lesson learned. I don't care to use anything but Cricut iron on if I can help it. It's been good to me. You just need to follow instructions.

Worse vinyl ever I wasted my time and money. Bought 4 rolls cause I needed to do a bunch of the same shirt, I ruined 2 shirts and used all the vinyl! It does not stick to the fabric I don't care how hard or long u put the heat press on it that garbage is no good. When it did decide to partially stick it would be all messed up all mashed up like it wasn't flat. I will never again buy this and if this is the type of supplies cricut is going to distribute to customers then I will start using none cricut merchandise. Its cheaper and works 100% better!
