The package says it's 5.5"x48", but that 5.5 is the size of the backing. The actual vinyl is more like 5". This sort of vinyl is not meant for ironing or fabric but more like press-on designs for custom crafting.

Pros: Being able to buy onlineCons: Packaging could be better, my parcel arrived In a disgusting state, especially with covid about. Hairs and bits all over the sellotape, not good

Not new to using a cricut and done many projects. Got the joy and wanted to try the smart vinyl. It was absolutely terrible. Used two different types of transfer tape and it won’t come off the backing. So frustrating to waste vinyl and time.

Pros: The colour was okCons: Oh my word. I thought this would be great as it’s Cricut’s own vinyl but it’s the worst I’ve worked with. Impossible to weed and it tore so easily. I couldn’t use it. I’ll stick to the cheaper brand that I usually use!
You can’t use this material with the Joy unless you pay for their monthly membership. Buy the normal vinyl instead - Cricut doesn’t make you have a membership to use that material
I love this vinyl! It's so super easy to work with. I accidentally ripped one of my cuts as I was weeding it but it was ok because when I placed it on project, you couldn't even tell!!! It's like it knows where it was supposed to go! Lol Smart!
This vinyl is not permanent. It advertises that it works well with cricut transfer tape and it does not, it kept getting stuck to the tape making it impossible to transfer. Do not purchase!!
Granted the material is good but, it’s really hard to weed let alone trying to transfer not easy. Would I buy again probably not I wasted a lot of vinyl for a few projects. Maybe it’s me I don’t know just wasn’t impressed.
I used this on gifts I was making at Christmas. It doesn't weed or transfer well. I had to switch to get my gifts done. Then I forgot how bad it was and used it again. Again! Ugh, it's just too sticky, I guess. Don't waste your time or frustration on it. Sorry, Cricut.
Bought the 'convenient' smart vinyl to personalize cups for my granddaughter's cheerleading team. The project should have taken no longer than three hours but because of this terrible vinyl it actually took eight hours. The vinyl weeds just fine but getting it off the transfer tape, yeah, good luck. Unless or until they fix the product, and they absolutely should fix it if they're going to keep selling it, but until then I'll stick to non-smart vinyl products.
