I have been looking for this shoe for years. Finally, here it is!But - oh my goodness - could the Crocs people please hire me to help in the design department? The straps are just too much. And yes, the strap closest to the leg is placed too close, and it does cause blisters. I had to cut those straps off! It looks wayyyyy better with just two straps, but is it safe to drive with these sandals on? I'm not sure. AND there is a birkenstock-like lip on the toe of the shoe.... WHY??????? It's irritating. I find my toe worrying with it. I hate it.Couldn't we just have those older styles back? The footbed was narrower, and fit any normal foot better. These have a wide footbed, but I wouldn't call the shoe wide.Usually I wear a 39. I'm a solid 8 1/2. Normal foot. I ... MoreI have been looking for this shoe for years. If only Crocs had half sizes!I liked the Crocs Swiftwater Sandal. Very pretty shoe! But it's so flat. No support at all. It feels like you're walking barefoot. I loved the older style I bought in about 2019, and I've been wearing it for 9 months of the year. It's the only shoe I wear, and you can imagine the shape it's in now! Kinda spongy... not nice! But I keep wearing them; I can't find a good replacement. So my high hopes for this sandal were dashed the minute that blister appeared, and the lip on the top bothers me a lot! It's an okay shoe style-wise, as all shoes are ugly these days, but I would prefer something more beautiful.Overall I'm so disappointed.Again.

I loved, loved, loved the original style of this slip on. Back then they fit well and they were well made. This one feels slimy when you put it on. It doesn't have the raised dots of the original version. It also doesn't have the arch support that the original one had and they are wide. Why are you making everything so wide and the quality so cheap. I was a major advocate for your original versions, but the updated versions are not of the same quality.

I've worn these sandals all summer long (also have them in orange)and they are very very comfortable. I am not a big walker(drive everywhere) but when I was forced to walk (around the mall etc) this shoe made it bearable. No joint, knee or back pain. If I have to walk any distance again, I will definitely be wearing this shoe lol. Only regret is wish Crocs made half sizes.I am a true 8.5. I bought a 9(not the snug fit I wanted) as the 8 ran too short as my heel was slightly off the back. Thought it was better to be alittle big than too small.

I was looking for a new sandal. Don't care for thong sandals so these are perfect. As another reviewer said, I also miss my Patricia size 8 and I love love love my Cyprus IV size 8, but Crocs seems to have moved away from these more feminine models in favor of more clunky models. This Getaway Strappy is pretty good though. I am a size 8, just a few mm wider than a standard foot (pinky toe area) but not enough to quality me for a wide shoe. So, definitely not narrow. For me, the Getaway Strappy is a near perfect fit, and very comfortable. I've only walked around the home in these, but looking forward to wearing them for summer travel!
I bought a size 9, because that's my size. But it is a bit too small,to wear the back of the heel is flush with the back of the shoe. Looks weird. I exchanged it for a 10 via mail. The sizes between the left and right shoe on the 10 was inconsistent. The left perfect, the right was loose to where I know if I push my door too much, my toes will spill over. This ARE cute and comfortable, so I will go into a store personal to try on a different pair. Of it still doesn't fit correctly, I'll honestly give up on these.
I was wondering about all the comments that these are too wide. I have a wide foot and I had to size up! Usually I wear an 8 in a Croc. I had to get a 9 because of the straps. These have a masculine look because the footbed is wide. AND the straps are a bit too wide, and placed too far apart, for beauty and for comfort. Oh, couldn't they let ME be a designer there? I know what looks good on women! These do not look feminine at all.Yes, bring back the older styles, please! Or make a simple crisscross sandal, with the more narrow footbed, with the higher heel (higher than the Swiftwater) and not such wide straps for the sandal!I went ahead and cut the third strap off. It was giving me blisters too! It looks wayyyyyy more beautiful now, but there's a weird ... MoreI was wondering about all the comments that these are too wide. It was giving me blisters too! It looks wayyyyyy more beautiful now, but there's a weird birkenstock-like edge on the top lip by the toes, and that feels pretty awful. My toes keep reaching for it, wondering what in the world it's doing there. I hate that lip. I'm thinking of getting my hairdryer and trying to melt it off. I think that will work! Not my favorite shoe.Whereas, the early version (sorry; I don't know the name) is my favorite shoe ever. I still wear that shoe every day, even though the squishiness of it now, after about five years of solid wear and tear, is kind of unpleasant. I've spent quite a bit of money trying to find another shoe that I like as much as I like those (see video) but not yet.I keep looking to Crocs to just bring them back, but no! They replace them with a lesser alternative, that I have to cut and mold and - even after all that work - is inferior.I'm so disappointed. I had high hopes that THIS could be my SHOE!!!It is not my shoe.
I have bought multiple sandals from Croc.my feet have had zero issues once I began wearing them. But I have issues with this one being too wide and and my feet slipping when wearing these. Very disappointed. Croc needs to make a consistent sandal that they keep around for years, rather than restyling a new one every year. The Patricia sandal was perfect. I use the Boca from last year and now cannot find it? I think keep what works! This does not.
Loved the Patricia and Rhonda styles-I like crocs that are firm and supportive, yet comfy. The boca style last year was ok, but these are way worse-super squishy and soft, no support, my feet ache after wearing them all day. I've worn them randomly for a few weeks and they are already squishing down fl, which I hate. They are a little too wide, and the edge around the sole sometimes rubs uncomfortably under my big toe. Just not great. They got rid of their super popular Patricia-type sandals and made chunkier, more uncomfortable substitutes. I've been waiting for good crocs sandals to come back, but so far I've just been disappointed every year.
I have seen the reason why crocs are popular after purchasing for my kids - they seem cushy, easy to slip on, durable, and easy to clean. However, I would never wear the standard style Croc because it’s just not my jam. Bring in the Getaway Sandal to change my mind. Not the standard style - a little more on the casual sandal side which makes it perfect for the pool, lake, running, casual outings, and even slipping on quick to take the trash out. What I love - cushy, easy to clean and quickly dries, and the sole is thick so my feet have distance between them and dirty restroom floors. What could be improved -My feet are narrower so the straps could be tighter against them. However, the shoes still work well for me and I may be buying more croc sandals in the future!
