My petite 2yo still wears shoes labeled "4" so I was nervous about just how big these would be... they're stamped size "7." They're perfect. Big enough so she can pull them on herself, but don't make her clumsier than normal. I have to take them off and hide them periodically to air out her sweaty feet and wash the boots or she'd wear them all day, every day. Truly waterproof and rugged. Worth the money. Like that they're gender-neutral so her brother can get them as hand-me-downs.

My two girls have loved wearing these since toddlers on, yet both had to stop once they hit size 11. The once perfect rain boots no longer work because the ankles run so narrow they rub their ankle bones uncomfortably. Neither girl has wide calves nor feet, and were fine when they used the smaller sizes. Trying other sizes up didn’t solve the issue either, but I still recommend them heartily for younger kids for their ease of getting on and off and drying quickly. My girls would’ve loved having a purple option, too.
My nearly-9 year old son has the widest feet known to man. He has had lots of luck with Croc shoes so I decided to give the rain boots a try. I also have many friends who buy them for themselves and their children, so I know they're a good, long-lasting product. HOWEVER! Big foot could barely get his foot into them. The ankle isn't wide enough in proportion to the width of the footbed. I was able to slide them on after sprinkling some powder into the boot, but this doesn't account for the additional width of a sock. If you're dealing with an extra wide foot you may want to purchase a size larger than usual. Otherwise this is an amazing rain boot for the price.
Practical & comfy. My son is on his 3rd pair. Easy to get on/off and no innersole to pull out and twist. Love these gumboots!
Make sure you don’t do like me and wait to try them on your child. They are too small and I guess I can’t return them because of time sensitivity. Bummer I would’ve gotten a bigger size.
These are actually the second pair of these boots that I have purchased for my 3 year old daughter. They are so perfect for mud, sand, or rain. They are easy to clean and I don't have to worry about her getting dirty. The handles on either side make them easy for her to put them on all by herself. They are her favorite color and she loves wearing them! She likes to be able to splash in muddy puddles like Peppa Pig.
