This Crosley Cruiser Deluxe record player is a great choice! It's stylish and portable, with built-in speakers that get surprisingly loud. Plus, the Bluetooth connectivity is a nice bonus - you can easily stream music to the player from your phone or other devices. It's a perfect option for casual listeners who want a fun and easy way to enjoy vinyl records. Just be aware that some audiophiles might prefer a record player with better sound quality.

Extremely poor product. Needle skips constantly (no wonder as no adjustable tonearm weight and no antiskate mechanism). Also very heavy tonearm (as said, non-adjustable), may damage records played frequently. Excessive and audible wow and flutter, very noticeable esp. in piano pieces. Noisy motor. Feels very cheap. Do yourselves a favour and buy a proper turntable. This product as-is makes no sense. Too expensive to be a toy, too cheap to play records properly

Provides, as required, ability to play 33, 45 and 78 rpm vinyl on a portable player. However the built in sound quality is poor and an external audio system is needed to get a decent sound. External options are OK...headphone socket and rca line out. I've tried playback via a soundbar and my hifi system and both work fine.Overall external appearance is fine.Stylus arm and associated mechanism is a bit flimsy so will need to be treated with extra care.Bluetooth option is rather pointless. You will probably have other better quality Bluetooth audio devices available should you need that. Conclusion: handy for quick set up to listen to vinyl if access to a quality record deck is not easy (as for us). Just purchased this for a birthday gift for my almost 12 year old daughter. If the ability to update reviews is an option, I'll do so after she tries it out. However, I'm writing this now in order to give folks a heads up that information regarding it's cost and in-store availability may not be accurate. We purchased this record player in-store, less than one hour ago, for $20 less than the price listed here. Additionally, the store had quite a lot in stock, but on here it says that the product isn't available at my selected store, or at any store near me. Of course this could be different where you live, but it may be worth checking into before purchasing online. (I assume one could call their local store to inquire if a specific product is in stock).
It's hard to convey how terrible this sounds. I was kind of expecting this, and (to the best of my knowledge) others in the same price range are similarly bad, but it really is the worst, tinniest sound I've ever heard from a record player in my long life, and I've heard some bad record players. The quality of the sound from the built in speakers is on a par with that of speakers from a dollar store: often physically painful to listen to, unless the volume is extremely low. It's an extremely cheaply made device in general, with poorly thought through controls and about the lowest end components imaginable. On the bright side, it looks lovely and it is very small and light. It does have three speeds, with a pitch control to help compensate for the fact they are not super-accurate, and you can improve the sound a lot by adding external powered speakers or playing it through another system (using phono or headphone outputs). It's still not great but it's much closer to my expectations for a cheap ceramic cartridge, a primitive belt drive, and a low quality amp. It's hard to fathom why they bothered spending money on bluetooth-in and an aux-in socket, which would have been much better spent on improving pretty much any other part of it (or maybe adding bluetooth out). The needles are very standard, and are very easily and cheaply replaced - they can be as little as a dollar or two each, though I'd advise spending a bit more, and buying a few at a time. This thing will plough through the grooves of well-kept records at the best of times, so it's best to use sacrificial needles to play old scratched disks (good for 78s and 45s, in particular), and to change them very regularly, if you want to preserve your records and hear them as clearly as possible.
I bought this for my adult daughter's birthday. She hasn't set it up yet but we have owned these under $100 Crosley record players in the past and they have worked fine for our occasional use. She loves the green watercolor color. It was shipped in the original box which was damaged in shipping, but I opened one end to make sure it was new (box pretty beat up to give as a gift), didn't pull it out because it had foam corners and looked okay. Issue was the box is too thin for shipping. If buying for a gift, recommend picking up in store or seeing if additional shipping box is offered. Some colors might only be in store for Christmas.
I was just minding my own business, doing my pickup shopping for Christmas and for myself. Then all of a sudden I saw these turntables. I got halfway to the checkout and then I turned right around because I decided I had to have one of these. Actually it caused me some trouble purchasing it, because the Walmart app would not accept my card as a payment source. Finally I simply used the card directly in the payment machine and everything was great. I felt it was a reward to myself for not using my Walmart card for a whole year…I had picked up a cheap Jenson stereo similar to this maybe 5 years ago but the quality of that record player compared to this, was very bad. I felt it was a reward to myself for not using my Walmart card for a whole year…I had picked up a cheap Jenson stereo similar to this maybe 5 years ago but the quality of that record player compared to this, was very bad. Record playback was metallic, that player has very chintzy speakers built into it, these are a slightly better although not slightly larger. But I like that the player has a speed/pitch control so I will be able to play my along with any record I put in.The speaker quality is what you would expect for a small Record player like this, but it will be good enough for what I need. Also, the built-in Bluetooth receiver makes this useful for other purposes besides record playing. It is interesting to flip back-and-forth between the digital BT audio and the analog record player audio.I may try to find a better needle for this device, I used to have a 50 year old Shure Diamond needle, but I had packed that away when I moved 26 years ago and that needle is probably in some box somewhere. I will keep on looking for a replacement cartridge, hopefully I will be able to replace what’s in there. I also need to pick up some cleaning materials.I don’t really have any complaints about this, especially for the price and I think it was worth it. And, I have been aware of this company for decades.
I really wanted to like this. I was psyched to play my records on Christmas morning. It was a gift to me from my wife and girls. The sound was terrible. It sounded like the speakers were blown out. Super static. I played music through the speakers with blue tooth and they sounded fine. I guess it was a problem with the record needle. Sent it back and anxiously awaited my new one. It came quick. Static was gone but the speed is way off. I'm guessing something is wrong with the belt. Will be returning it. Not taking another chance on Crosley. Walmart was not the issue. They shipped the new one quickly. The player is just bad. Disappointed because I like the size and color.
The Crosley vinyl record player is a retro gem with modern functionality. Its vintage design adds a touch of nostalgia to any room, while its impressive sound quality brings music to life. Easy to use and versatile, it plays vinyl records effortlessly, allowing music enthusiasts to enjoy their favorite tunes with a classic feel. Its blend of style and performance makes it a standout choice for vinyl aficionados seeking both aesthetics and great sound.
Tone arm is out of balance and skips and slides across records. No way to balance or troubleshoot with this model as it’s very basic so I’m returning it. Don’t waste your time with this one!Oh yeah. Item arrived damaged! Screws from lid fell out of the bag as we slid the outer bag off. Bottom corner of box is banged up so I’m guessing it was damaged in shipping. I tried to put the screws back in but the lid holes were stripped out and the lid just fell right off! Very poor quality.
