The heatsinks are standard aluminum, colored black. This works out as it blends into any illuminated case nicely without pull attention away from the main lighting build effects if in use. On the cooling heatsink, there’s minimal Crucial branding with your standard detailed tag on the RAM.The RAM itself is not a low-profile design as each stick will stand around 1.5 inches due to the cooling heatsinks. This may interfere with your current CPU cooler if it is fairly large, and does not provide much clearance between the systemboard, processor, and memory module locations. Each module is 16GB DDR5 using a single-rank design, set initially at a “clock speed” of XX-5600 to allow for initial compatibility. “Clock Speed” is the rate at which RAM is able to access processor data for processing. The higher the speed, the more data per-second can be processed by your RAM. Installation is easy, ensure your aligned with he tab on the systemboard and the slot, push/slide in to the slot until click. Be sure not to use excessive force during install. This is why it’s important for gamers to have high clock speeds when gaming and help prevent lag. We are not talking about lag from your internet connection. The lag between pushing a keyboard key to send the signal to the processor and get the returned action. In similar nature to Frame Rate processing for your graphics options. This aspect is also true when using any form of Artificial Intelligence (AI) as this will determine how fast your answers are processed and data is calculated. Overalls speeds during testing showed a significant increase in processing when using one of the current AI forms. For gameplay, there was noticeable difference from the initial install testing and overclocking.

This test passed with flying colors, no errors, and a score of 99.8%.I then ran Passmark's Performance Test software using the Memory Mark test. the Crucial Pro 32GB (2PK 16GB) DDR5-6000 Overclock Edition received a score of 3965 and was placed in the 98% percentile compared to the rest of the world's results.I cannot honestly say that I notice any real world different in this RAM compared to the last RAM I was using in actual game play, but I can safely say it was nowhere near as fast or low-latency. Crucial states these memory modules perform 25% lower latency when comparing to Crucial's Pro DRAM plug-and-play 6000 modules, which is already an impressive task give this is out of the box.Given how fast this RAM registers on Memory Mark without being overclocked, how stable it runs, how clean it looks and for a very good price point, no one would go wrong installing this into their systems. White it's never the absolute fastest products on the market, Crucial has always struck a balance between real life usable where it counts and extremely stable. Crucial is a brand I trust in my systems and I have no doubt the Crucial Pro 32GB (2PK 16GB) DDR5-6000 Overclock Edition will be installed in my system for a long time into the future. I appreciate the opportunity Crucial gave me to test and review this RAM and I will certainly be adding it to my recommendations list.

Better performance, getting some more life out of a working system, and even a little futureproofing. It comes from a respected name in the industry, at a good price, and I think is a great value. Crucial (now a subbrand of Micron, one of the world's largest memory manufacturers) has long been a trusted name in RAM. And this PRO 32GB kit is a great example of why that is. Crucial didn't load this kit down with flashy and colorful LEDs or massive (and not helpful) heatsinks. What they DID was pack it with fast, high capacity memory modules. But is it right for you? Read on to find out.First off, if your motherboard supports DDR5 and at least two sticks, this is a drop in upgrade - either replacing your existing slower/lower capacity RAM or alongside your existing RAM if you prefer and have 2 or more open slots (though in that case, ALL the RAM will run at the speed of the SLOWER RAM, so consider that carefully). Once physically installed, you should go to the BIOS / UEFI screen on your PC and look to see if you can turn the speed on this RAM up to it's rated "XMP" profile or rated speed of up to DDR5-6000 (some pre-built machines may not allow this - and that's fine as the RAM will still work though it may not use ALL it's performance). At this point - in mid-2024 - 32GB is plenty of RAM for nearly anything you might do particularly with the speed of this kit. I like the black / plain design of the RAM as well and the lower profile (though not super low) will fit with more large coolers than RAM with larger heatsinks/lights.So if you're looking for no nonsense, fast and high capacity RAM that just works, this is a great kit to add to your list. Give it a try today!

Additionally, 32GB seems to be a sweet spot for compatibility with any game, program, or running AI.Here are some things I love about this RAM:Installation took only seconds. It's compatible with lower speeds. It lacks gaudy RGB lights, which some users might prefer. The modules are encased in stylish aluminum heat spreaders instead of being bare.Overall, I'm 100% satisfied with this product and believe you would be too.

Once I populated the remaining 2 memory slots, it detected the additional memory but ran it at the lower speed of the stock memory. I then removed the slower memory and enabled XMP 3.0 in the BIOS and rebooted with just the new Crucial 6000 memory. It automatically set it at the higher frequency and all the right timings enabling the best performance out of my Intel core i7-14700 CPU. That translated into gaming at higher frame rates or rendering graphic designs more smoothly. This memory runs very stable at 6000 MT/s CAS Level 36 but is also downward compatible to lower speeds of 5200 or 5600 if you have an earlier, less capable motherboard that can’t handle 6000 or a stable voltage. It also supports the performance recovery and mild overclocking for Intel XMP 3.0 and AMD EXPO technology. All in all, this a reliable, Pro Series choice, mildly overclocked at a reasonable price, especially when on-sale, so I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to a friend.

My PC not only failed to boot but also malfunctioned, making it impossible to diagnose the issue without removing the new RAM.I wasn't sure if the problem was due to a defect in the RAM or a miscommunication between my PC's specifications and the RAM itself. I double and triple checked the specs of my rig making sure it was compatible with the memory and getting confirmation from Crucial support staff. Despite the promising specs and capabilities of the Crucial Pro 32GB DDR5-6000 UDIMM, it just didn’t work with my setup for some reason.Crucial's customer service deserves a mention here. They were professional and very helpful throughout the troubleshooting process. Their team guided me through various steps to try and resolve the issue, but unfortunately, we couldn't get the RAM to work with my system. In the end, while the potential of Crucial's Pro 32GB DDR5-6000 UDIMM Overclocking Edition RAM is impressive, my personal experience was less than ideal. I was excited about the upgrade and the enhanced capabilities it promised, but it didn't work out for me. However, the professionalism and support from Crucial's customer service were top-notch, even though the product ultimately did not meet my expectations. I can say that I have used many Crucial products in the past and they have been very reliable and a good product, maybe I just got an unlucky bad memory from the product line. I would recommend Crucial to anyone as I have a more positive track record with other products, I just can’t give any high recommendations on this product until I get it to work as intended. If anything changes, I will definitely provide an update.
I was in the market to give my gaming PC a little boost. One of the components I wanted to add was more RAM. These Crucial memory chips seemed to fit the bill of exactly what I was looking for. I have a 13th gen Intel chip, so these will pair nicely with that. They definitely don’t look like your typical memory chips. They have a sleek black cover on them so you don’t see the circuit board and all the individual chips on it. So that will give your PC a cooler look, especially if you have the clear side panels on the case like I do where you can see all the components inside your PC.Installing them was about as simple as can be. Just take them out of the package and pop them into free memory slots on your motherboard. Make sure they are good and snug and locked into ... MoreI was in the market to give my gaming PC a little boost. One of the components I wanted to add was more RAM. So the data transfer speeds definitely get a nice boost over my previous chips.Even just day to day tasks when I do things like video editing while I have Photoshop open while im also browsing the web and have my email open all at the same time, there is not even the slightest bit of a hiccup. These handle it all with ease!I did some slight overclocking and fired up Alan Wake 2, one of the most demanding titles you can play on a PC. Speed improved, frame-rate improved and I didn’t notice any problems or hiccups or overheating or anything like that. These are solid chips and an excellent addition to any PC!

This 32GB set offers a blend of high speed, low latency, and robust stability, making it an excellent choice for users seeking to maximize their system's potential.PerformanceThe DDR5-6000 memory operates at a frequency of 6000 MT/s, providing a significant boost in data transfer rates compared to previous generations of DDR memory. This high speed translates to faster load times, smoother multitasking, and enhanced performance in memory-intensive applications. Whether you’re rendering 4K videos, running virtual machines, or engaging in high-end gaming, this memory kit ensures your system runs efficiently and responsively.LatencyWith timings of 36-38-38-80, the Crucial DDR5-6000 balances speed with latency. The CAS latency (CL) of 36 clocks ensures quick access to data, which is crucial for performance-sensitive tasks. The low latency is particularly beneficial for real-time applications and gaming, where every millisecond counts. This combination of high frequency and low latency provides an optimal performance profile for a wide range of uses. It’s always important to have a happy marriage between RAM’s frequency and latency, and Crucial delivers beautifully on this front. It’s not the fastest speed, and it’s not the lowest latency – instead, it is an ideal middle ground for demanding workloads and gamers.StabilityStability is paramount in high-performance systems, and the Crucial DDR5-6000 delivers on this front. It supports Intel XMP 3.0 and AMD EXPO, making it easy to achieve the best performance settings with minimal effort. The modules are built with high-quality components (Micron memory chips are some of the best out there) and are rigorously tested to ensure reliability. This ensures that the RAM operates smoothly even under heavy loads and overclocked conditions. I’ve used Micron/Crucial RAM in my servers, desktops, and laptops, so they’re one of my top picks for stability and reliability.Specs/Features• Capacity: 32GB (2 x 16GB)• Speed: 6000 MT/s• Timings: 36-38-38-80• Voltage: 1.35V• Compatibility: Intel 12th & 14th Gen CPUs, AMD Ryzen 7000 Series CPUs• Profile Support: Intel XMP 3.0 Ready, AMD EXPO• Warranty: Limited Lifetime WarrantyInstallationCrucial includes a QR code on the packaging which leads to a guide on how to to replace or install RAM on a desktop computer. If your looking for some straight forward out of the box speed without messing with timings and settings just a simple click of the EXPO settings to turn on the faster settings to squeeze all you can get for performance out of you machine, Look no further than this Crucial memory. I have owned several types of memory thought my computer building career but i always find myself going back to the number one name brand in memory Crucial. I had the little bit slower speed crucial memory in my system that at stock speed you would be at 4800 MHZ DDR5 memory. Overclocked you could get the slower memory to run stable at DDR5 5600 and that's pretty darn fast. But when i saw this 32 gig set that runs stable at 6000 MHZ with EXPO or XMP enabled i had to have it.
