Crystaderm Cream 10g
Crystaderm is a preservative-free first aid cream used for the treatment and prevention of minor skin infections such as acne, cuts, scrapes, grazes, burns and school sores (impetigo), and unlike topical antibiotics it carries no known risk of bacterial resistance. Hydrogen peroxide is a potent agent against many types of bacteria, some fungi and viruses. It acts by destroying essential components of the cells of these organisms. Crystaderm dries fast and adheres to both moist and dry areas, and doesn’t stain skin, hands and fabric. A small amount of Crystaderm goes a long way so can be applied sparingly, and the smooth, pearly white cream vanishes quickly on application. Dosage Cleanse the wound first with water and a mild soap before applying the cream. It should be applied 2-3 times a day, or when needed, to the affected areas. If an occlusive dressing is used, one application a day may be sufficient. A dry film may appear on the skin after application; this can be easily washed off with water. The treatment period should not exceed 3 weeks. If symptoms persist for more than 3 weeks consult your doctor. Warnings Avoid contact with eyes - if the cream should accidentally get into the eyes, wash it out immediately with plenty of cold water. Crystaderm cream is generally well tolerated and not associated with any serious side effects, however a mild sensation of burning may be experienced for a short time after application. For external use only.

Very effective cream. Be aware it can leave a white crust as it dries out but it just brushes off. I like it because it kills bacteria chemically - bursts the cell wall. Unlike antibacterial which work differently and resistance can develop. Fast delivery, good price.
