This was the first time I’ve used this product and I’m very impressed with it.I used it to fix down an alloy chequer plate step cover over a concrete step.At first I thought it was a little soft when it came out of the tube, but it was a warm day and that might have had something to do with it.It needed a reasonable amount of pressure to make sure it was level, so it couldn’t have been that soft.I gave it a little extra time to cure (36-48 hours) and it’s absolutely solid.Very impressed.Definitely recommend it for bonding/sealing.

CT1 is by far the best sealant product on the market. It may be expensive but it is so versatile it is worth it. It's ability to be painted over as well as being both a sealant and an adhesive sets it apart from other products. You can clean any surplus up using white spirit so another plus for it. Use all year round and note that it doesn't set in the nozzle as silicone sealants do.

There can be little doubt that this is the best adhesive on the market. It sticks anything to anything. Years ago there a certain adhesive that you spread on both side of a joint, let it go touch dry then put the pieces together & they were stuck forever. This leaves that adhesive in its wake, it's far superior and genuinely it sticks things together under water it's fantastic. It isn't cheap like many silicon/sealants but the best costs & once you have used this forget all the other adhesives who advertise using them to replace nails & screws in construction, they are streets behind CT1. When you want an adhesive that does it all CT1 is the one that counts.

Pleased with the product. Used as a general sealant and adhesive and both applications performed well. Had some large areas on this application that needed a waterproof sealant and no early sights of shrinkage to date. I find it very sticky so easy to use in small amounts if required. Found by leaving small amount projecting from nozzle, it will seal and keep active for weeks by just pulling out the end.
As a silcon/sealant no problem (4-5 stars) but, silver? Don't think so. Grey all day. I hate giving bad reviews. A lot of issues with products are, often, own goals. Read between the lines and you can see the issue. I didnt expect a nicy shiny silver, but its not even close to mat silver. It could be my expectations. Colour aside, its not a bad product.
Great for filling deep movement cracks in a wall after renovation works below it. Filled the deepest ones to approximately 5mm below the surface and left for a few days to set before filling the more shallow ones alongside the previous deepest ones. Impressed by the amount of sealant that you can use without any sagging. Water doesn’t wipe the excess sealant off but an industrial wipe got most of it off after a good scrapping off with a filling knife. I left this again for a few days to cure through thoroughly but note that it doesn’t dry hard but to a firm flexible surface like a pencil rubber. However after applying 2 coats of acrylic primer/ undercoat to it the surface did firm up considerably. A waterproof sealant that is both a good adhesive & over paintable with water based paints is impressive & useful.
This sticks very well, even to damp surfaces, and is both elastic and tough when set. It takes paints easily. I have used it spread with a filler knife on an old badly weathered, shrunken, rough and cracked, but not rotten, timber windowsill to seal the surface quickly then stained over it. The hybrid polymers, in this case a trihybrid, are much superior to the original standard silicons.
Make sure you put plenty on! Doesn't 'grab' like other adhesives. Takes quite a long time to go off. Think about where you are going use this product and consider clamping or jigging to hold the work piece in place you are going to stick/seal until it goes off. It was using it overhead and had rig supports up after I found it didn't 'grab'.
It Stopped 2 holes size of my small fingernail in my 14ft swimming pool whilst it was full, also i used on holes on air beds and it works. Best stuff i have ever bought, on top you can buy multiple colours to suit the job your prepairing. If your gonna buy for a bath to be sealed you couldnt buy anything better as CT1 is for use in marine industry. Highly recommend this
I had an issue with a shower that just wouldn't seal. I used countless sealants and put so much sealant it looked awful. Plus, my other sealant would go mouldy after 1 -2 months.CT1 sealed first time and the shower wasn't even dry. It's been down 2 months and no sign of mould. It doesn't smell and is easy to work. At first sight appears pricey but reapplying silicone isn't cheap. This seals first time every time so in showers I'll only ever use this.
