I may be a bit different than most people who bought the Cubii. I was a fitness trainer/exercise physiologist my entire career and still work out regularly riding my Peloton Bike and lifting upper body weights/core. I am now have some back issues, due to scoliosis, so I am not quite as active as I used to be. I can no longer stand for long periods of time without back pain. I have been sitting more and wanted to keep moving rather than sitting so much. So I bought a Cubii. I did it for an hour yesterday while on the computer at level 6. Is it a workout for me? Honestly NO. I didn't even break a sweat. That is no problem though because I can get my heart rate up and sweat on my bike. It is also a small range of motion. I am a physical therapist of 40 years. I have 2 patients who have older ( heavier ) models. I was intrigued on how easy but so beneficial the equipment worked for them. For the muscle strength and endurance, but it seemed to connect their body with their brain and it was an activity that they could accomplish on their own building self confidence. As I am older now I purchased the newer model. So much lighter to carry and I do the exercise after a day of work while watching Wheel of Fortune with my husband. I absolutely love it. I am also thrilled with the entire process. Perfectly packed. Arrived on time. A great experience.

The agent asked me why I wanted to order the JR2 over the JR1 (I wanted the better model-lighter weight, better wheel, foot straps) but she kept pushing the original model. She falsely told me that the straps couldn't be removed when I asked about it. Waiting for this to be picked up as agreed. I really am so unhappy as yet again i have been sent what looks like a returned item. It arrived in its original box with my address stuck on and loads of sellotape and the box ripped. In my opinion this a disgusting way to send goods let alone one that is priced at £150.00. Certainly no Quality Control happened here. This is not the first time i have been sent goods that have been used, so no longer buy shoes or clothing from QVC.

The only issue is that the ChairLock apparatus really does not work. That is the only reason that I cannot give this 5 stars. So my original idea of using it under my desk while I am working from home will not work because it constantly slips out. On the upside, it is GREAT to use after work while I sit on the couch watching TV and just keeping the blood moving and getting some good cardio. Very helpful during winter in the Midwest! The Cubii JR2 arrived with pedals that did not fit the machine. It took about a week while working with Cubii to resolve the issue. They sent new pedals that fit properly so everything is OK now. I don't know if the mismatch occurred when Cubii shipped the machine to Vitcom or if Vitcom packed it incorrectly.
First piece of exercise kit that I haven't sent back. Since lockdown I have been working from home, sitting at a desk. No commute is lovely, but I barely move as the kettle and the loo are about 10 steps away from my desk. I mean to go for a walk but the days disappear. This goes under my desk and I peddle as I type. I thought I might not be able to do both at the same time, like patting your head and rubbing your tummy, but it's easy, don't realise I'm peddling most of the time. Averaging 8000 "steps" a day. Highly recommend
Purchased for an elderly person with low vision. The machine is too heavy for them to lift. The vision issue makes it impossible for unassisted use due to inability to see the unit and get foot placement trying to sit in a chair it is not possible to straddle the unit and sit down. Further, the foot straps if not used, rub on the bottom of the foot peddles making a distracting noise. If used they pull up tight to the bottom of the foot pedal. Otherwise for anyone who does not have vision issues, this unit is quite easy to use and pedaling is easy. Unit is small and takes up little room. The movement is quiet and balanced.

I had also had a heart attach last year and type two diabetes, bad back, can hardly walk, neuropathy in both feet and immaculate degeneration in one eye so I'm also going blind. Have tried many types of exercise equipment not able to use any of them so I was excited to receive the Cubii jr2 and give it a try. I was very surprised at the easy it was to use. I look forward to the benefits of being able to exercise now. I like that I sit at my desk and use it or I can carry it down stairs with ease and use while I watch tv. I wanted something to help me keep moving and something that would be useful if I can't be outside.This was a great purchase. First, it was very easy to assemble (attach the pedals) and then use it. It is relatively easy to move around (it weighs under 25 pounds) and it fits under my desk or my dining table. I have carpeted floors which means movement is not a problem, but I think it would need something if you were using it on a hard floor.I usually use it on tension 3 or 4 (see comment about foot injury) and I look forward to trying the higher tensions.
