First problem was returning the Cookware set to Macy's. The box is extremely heavy so Macy's had to arrange a UPS pick up. We got the return label, but NO ONE called Sam to arrange pick up time. The couple decided to keep the set because of delays. They washed the cookware and the wash sponge turned black. They are now trying to cook with the set but there is a chemical smell that stays on the food. They are going to trash this cookware. VERY UNHAPPY!

Overall, nice 17 piece set. It won’t replace my All Clad but solid everyday set. Be careful with coating as it scratches easily. I saw something that said you don’t need any oil or butter when using fry pans but that is not the case. I fried two eggs and they stuck profusely. You always need a little something. The pots and pans seem quite light and easy to handle. We’ll see how long they last.

Great set for someone who really cooks!
19 August 2023

Love it ! This set offers lots of different size pans and pots. My only complaint is that I need to buy one more piece . I use to cook in a 5.5 qt large skillet that was deep enough for drying or making saucy dishes. This set doesn’t include one. I’m just going to find a new one since the Teflon wore out on my Tramontina pan from Sams club. So far Cuisinart seems good quality. I am trying my best to take care of them since I like to use wooden spoons. I’m about to order the Mad Hungry silicone utensil set and that should ensure my new cookware will last years!

Greatlooking set!!

I'm impressed....kinda? I've always had pots & pans that were mismatched and different brands and this is my first good set that I've ever purchased. The quality is top notch - I'm very impressed. We bought a new electric range and I wanted new pots & pans to go on it. Everything feels good and balanced when using these. I'm very happy with my purchase so far. My only issue is when I got it home and it said everything needs to be washed by hand? 🤔 Well, everything still looks as good as the day we bought this set. I could spend a lot more money and not be as happy with these

Love this Cookware Set!!
19 September 2023

I absolutely love my new Cuisinart 17-Piece Cookware Set. It's been about 10 years since I've bought new cookware and wow! What a difference this set makes. It's lightweight, cooks evenly and cleans up easily. I love all the different sizes and that the cookware can go into the oven. The handles stay cool on the sauce pans and the frying pans but the little handles on the pots and the lids get hot. You will need to use a potholder.

Overall great product, dissapointed with paint

My wife and I were very excited when we found out about this set, we thought it will be a great complement to our Cuisineart kitchen! Overall we are satisfied with it although we have some comments:Pros:1. Non-stick surface: it's amazing how the food slides on the Quantamium surface!2. Heating: the stockpots and the dutch oven reaches cooking temperatures fast and even on the pot.3. Easy to clean interior: since the food does not stick to the surface, the inside cleaning is done almost effortlessly.Cons:1. Outside surface: to my surprise and disappointment the outside scratches easily. My stovetop is a Whirlpool with cast iron supports. The first time I used a pan, I dragged it as I regularly did it with my existing sets. When I was going to wash it I noticed some scratches on the bottom! That is really a concern since Im, not the only one using the set (my wife and daughters also) to have scratches on the paint was not what I was expecting on a product of so high quality.2. Handles: the temperature on the pans, as advertised does not get hot. but the dutch oven is not the same, the first time I used it I got burned! Because I wasn't expecting them to get that hot. Now I know I need mittens to handle it.3. Steam release on the glass lids: It's strange not to have a steam release on the lids, that means I need to be more careful when cooking with the lids close to avoid spills.

This stellar cookware has you covered!!!

No limits to what you can cook with this well-crafted and intelligently designed 17-piece cookware set from Cuisinart! All pots are oven safe to 500° while the lids are oven safe to 350°. The titanium reinforced cooking surface will last a lifetime. The aluminum core heats up quickly and disperses the heat evenly, allowing for no wasted time in cooking. The hard anodized exterior is easy to clean, and pleasing to the senses, while the handles are made of stay-cool, stainless steel, which are functional, and pleasing as well. *note* the steel handles on the lids will heat up significantly, so always handle with heat-protective gloves, or mitts when cooking.

This set is replacing an older set by Cuisinart that was polished stainless exterior and nonstick interior. It is a "lower level" product than what we replaced. BUT, I am thoroughly please with it. I like not having to worry about scuffing the polished stainless exteriors while cleaning the cookware. The anodized, in my opinion, is much more functional. For the first time ever, I have been making pancakes with no oil. They turn out fantastic! I couldn't believe it the first time I tried it.Since January, my wife and I have made full breakfasts; spaghetti; chili; seared chicken breasts, fish and steaks; fried potatoes, gravy, sauces, steamed veggies, and much more. The lids! Look at all those lids. I never have to worry about lids.I definitely recommend this set. I expect it to last five years with moderate to heavy use and fairly good care-taking. I bought a new set of silicon utensils to add to our collection of silicon and nylon utensils. We don't use metal even though the cookware is made to tolerate gentle use of metal utensils. We also have many types of wooden utensils that we use.We store the pots and pans in a cabinet, so we separate the surfaces with the cardboard disks that Cuisinart uses in the packaging and with paper towels. We wash the cookware by hand and do not use abrasive cleaning pads or products.Cleaning is a breeze. Warm water, dish soap, a non-abrasive pad, and we're good to go.Cuisinart claims that we do not need to use high heat. I have found that to be true. With the exception of boiling water, I have only needed to use medium, medium low, and low heat to cook virtually everything. Medium is the new high when it comes to this cookware.Overall, I consider the functionality and price of this set to amount to very good value. When it comes to nonstick cookware, which is not my favorite, I think that marketing needs to do a better job of promoting and making available decent and appropriate cooking utensils. There are so many nylon and silicon utensils that suck out there. Prices are all over the place with huge disparity for the same quality. I finally found some I like but over the years, it's been ridiculous trying not to end up with junk. Utensils can be the deal breaker. I hated nonstick cookware for years and one of the reasons is that the utensils suck. If we have a bad experience with the utensils, then we have a bad experience with the cookware too.Nonstick cookware manufactures need to start matching better quality, functional utensils to the cookware. We don't need to be fussing with frayed edges on spatulas, utensils too thick to scoop up the food, bent and broken silicon utensils that cost $20.00, eggs and other proteins sticking to the spatula, melted handles etc.Improve our experience and sell more cookware. Utensils matter! Also, follow the manufacturer's instructions on care and heat. The main way these type of pans get ruined is by being left on high heat and by using sharp metal utensils. Take care of your cookware and it will take care of you.My review rating for the Cuisinart 17 Piece Chef's Classic™ Nonstick Hard Anodized Set is FIVE STARS.My review for the marketing and utensil issue is not so good. We need to do better.
