This is my first food processor ever. I wanted to see what the hype is about, but I was also afraid that I won’t be reaching out to it often. Oh was I so wrong, this stuff is totally so useful. It is convenient and cut down my prep time in the kitchen. I use it to chop or blend a lot of of types of veggies and even chillies. One thing that I don’t like about it is the detached blades. Since it is removable, food can get inside of the “rod” and make the base dirty. So for my next one, I’ll get one that doesn’t have a rod in the middle.

Cuisinart mini food processor

This mini processor is a little red powerhouse. I love the color, and I really appreciate how fast I can now chop herbs, onions, garlic, and mix dips and chimichurri. I do have one suggestion for the manufacturer. I would love it if Cuisinart would add on to the plastic bucket (or the lid), a small, permanent plastic piece to hold the scraper that comes with the machine. Or maybe change it to a bright neon color that is easier to find. Due to its small size and dark color, I am always misplacing it and having to hunt through my utensil drawer and countertops looking for it. I did feel that the original purchase price was high; fortunately I was able to buy it for a 30% discounted price after the holidays.

Go ahead, little choppin %26 rockin with this Mini

Are you kidding me, bought this little gem and so satisfied with it, and glad I did. We do a little choppin and shakin with this baby. Got it in white, to go with my other appliances in the kitchen. Chops and grinds several items I have tried so far, no problem with outcome. Had a Black and Decker for 20 years maybe and the bowl was cracked to little pieces, look at one of those to replace, I paid $10.00 back then, now they are $50. almost. Couldn't get a bowl for it. So went hunting and pecking through the reviews, best and some bad, and picked this little one, but as many have stated in their reviews, be careful of the bowl, could be made of a heavier plastic for safety's sake. But try and will be surprised if you not satisfied.

Perfect mini chopper

This little chopper is really powerful! I only cook for 2 so seldom use my full size food processor. When my Black & Decker mini chopped broke (2nd one!) I decided to some research on mini choppers. The Mini-Prep had great reviews, and even though it was about twice the cost of my old choppers, the reviews were so great I decided to take the plunge. The very first time I used this chopper I knew it was in a different league! What a great, powerful, fast chopper! It’s perfect.

Small and easy to use but not all I wanted

I bought this to chop up nuts and a few dried fruits to make my own keto style cereal. It doesn’t seem to have a way to shop everything up, but instead, some nuts get chopped until they’re dust while others are nearly whole. I have tried chopping the nuts first then chopping the dried dried after and then mixing it with a spoon that seems to work OK but I was hoping to have a better uniform outcome.

Small but mighty kitchen helper!

My original mini-prep stopped working after many years of good use. I was satisfied with its performance so I decided to replace it with the newer model. It works just fine and is much more user friendly when attaching the lid to operate. Performance is the same as older model. As mentioned in some other reviews - it is lighter in weight than the older model. I did need to hold it in place while using - the reason for 4 stars. Other than that - I expect to get many years of service again. It’s always been a staple in my food prep. Although I looked at other manufacturers, I still came back to a brand I trusted.

When my previous Cuisinart Mini-Prep finally wore out, I sought a new one and bought one in red--a real pop of color in my dark-stained wooden cabinets with mostly black appliances and grey marble counters. I've used this new 24-oz. processor this holiday season to grind nuts for biscotti and for adding to other mixtures; mix ground pecans with Parmesan, bread crumbs, and melted butter for a base for savory mini-cheesecakes made with goat cheese and cream cheese; grind gingersnaps and mix them with ground almonds and cold cubes of butter for the crust of a cranberry curd tart. In all cases this food processor worked like a champ--plus, it was easy to set up, to use, and to clean in between each of these holiday projects. cuisinart mini-prep is great

I love this little machine. I previously had a LARGE food processor that I actually rarely used because it was a pain to put together, and had been sitting up in a cupboard for years. I use this little cookie only for chopping meat I have cooked for my dog, which I used to chop with a knife. However, am looking forward to using it for other projects when the hot weather goes away--I never use my oven in the summer. It is easy to use. Cleaning is a snap. And it does the job very well--and fast, did I say fast?
