Cuisinart - Nut and Spice Grinder

It did not work. I phoned and was advised to send it back. On the 22nd July I received an email to let me know that it had arrived back to Peter’s of Kensington .That was just over 2 weeks ago and I have not heard anything. I am so very disappointed.On the 29th July I received am email asking me how many stars I would give Peter’s of Kensington. My reply was the same as above. Friday 30th another email thanking me for sharing my experience.I no longer want a replacement I just want a refund.This has, for me, been a very disappointing,frustrating and discouragingExperience.Please refund my money as soon as possible.Barbara Cochrane

So glad I brought this. It grinds small amounts of spices into powder easily in a short time. I have even used it to blend fresh ingredients like chilli and garlic into pastes. It's a bonus that the grinding bowl can be cleaned in a dishwasher.

I have seen these gadgets used in cooking shows like Rick Stein’s Indian series and thought maybe the purists would frown on them. I enjoy cooking with spices but don’t really love slaving over the mortar and pestle, so this was the answer. It works a treat, easy to clean, small to store and the curry tastes great!

This spice grinder very strong, it can grind the black cardamom that other spice grinder could not do. I wish it also comes with larger capacity. It cost more than other spice grinder that i brought but really worth it. The delivery was very quick too

FAB. Good sized bowl. Can use liquids. Removable bowl easy to clean and prevents liquids seeping into motor. Kitchen essential for any cook.

A Real Game Changer

Though not a gadget enthusiast per se, I have to say that this grinder meets and exceeds all expectations. It has transformed my favorite recipes and inspired new ones.

Great piece of kit!

The Cuisine Art spice and nut grinder is a great piece of kit! If you use a lot of spices in your food or are real fan of curries then there is nothing quite like freshly ground spices to bring out the flavour of your favourite dishes. This is my 2nd one, the 1st broke a blade when grinding whole nutmeg 3 or 4 years after I bought it. Not too worried about that as it had ground kilos of spices and nuts by that time. The new spice grinder works very well, just 10 seconds to achieve a finely ground spice mix. Ground almonds took 5 seconds only! One tip though, if you're worried about the blades getting blunt or breaking then buy a spare bowl, they come with the blades installed, now before you need it. Everten's customer service and delivery is fantastic, as always.

Great unit. Strong but not indestructible.

Does a great job of grinding spices, nuts, coffee, sugar, salt. Never buy castor sugar, just grind up some raw sugar. This is our second Cuisinart Nut and Spice grinder. The base of the cup may break if dropped on the floor but repaired with super glue. Tip - make sure the cup is well connected to the base before grinding. Also don't let the grandchildren use it unsupervised!

Brilliant little machine.I found it fairly quiet and super easy to use and clean. The lid for the grinding cup is a great inclusion.

Superb at grinding flaxseed very quickly

I had been looking for a long time for a flaxseed grinder replacement since my Savannah Smart Flax Seed mill broke (and they no longer make them). This Nut and spice grinder works in 6-8seconds, compared to the manual Savannah Grinder which took approx 1-2 minutes! I'm so happy with it as freshly ground flaxseed not only tastes better but has the omega 3 benefits that buying already ground flaxseed doesn't have. It's easy to clean too. I have used it for a few other things like pumpkin seeds and almonds... all ground beautifully.
