Cuisinart, Venture Portable Outdoor BBQ - CGG-750XA

Very handy for a fancy picnic as all of our onlookers called it as they walked by with envious eyes, holding sandwiches. It was more powerful than I had anticipated. We cooked 6 large handmade sausages and 4 sliced zucchinis in about 20 minutes. We were on a scenic overlook on a cloudy, windy day and when we first fired the grill up, it had started drizzling rain. Luckily the rain stopped after about 5 minutes. Even with conditions that were not ideal, this little guy got it done. It also cooled down quickly, was easy to clean and will be used for all future picnics.

LOVE THIS GAS GRILL!!! It's literally the perfect on the go grill that we use everywhere we go.. we have Brought it to the beach for quick meals with a bonfire and watching the sunsets.. to tailgating at soccer games.. to park visits with the kids and a quick dinner.. Everyone who sees it asks about it because the design is so cute with the wooden top that doubles as cutting board and storage for the propane tank inside! I highly recommend this product!

This little grill is so cool. Took it to the beach and enjoyed the simplicity of it. I used a grill liner to grill fish, for easier cleaning. Veggies were grilled without the liner. Both cooked fast and evenly. The small gas cylinder can be stored within the bottom of the grill which is great as I know I would forget to bring it.

I ordered this in December. I finally opened it and used it today. This little grill is fantastic! I would recommend this to anyone that is camping or has little space. I live in an apartment and this perfect. I fixed a steak. It turned out perfect. Clean up was easy.

Great little grill

Love the portability, it's easy to travel with. We cooked a bunch of hot dogs on it at our daughters softball game. The heating element is at the edges, so the middle didn't quite get hot enough, maybe we didn't let it heat long enough, but otherwise we overall are happy with it.

I loved it until it malfunctioned

Wow it cooks well, is powerful, and the self light feature was amazing. But honestly if I had to do it again,I'd get one with a lid. Not having one is a disadvantage. Also, yesterday my grease tray somehow came off the bottom and then the entire plastic bottom of the grill melted, causing the legs holding the grill to bow. And some of the plastic even started on fire. Yikes! I now seriously question the overall quality of the grill if it got destroyed that easily. For the money I thought it would last more than 3 years. I'm disappointed, I had really been enjoying it up until this dangerous malfunction.

It's okay, but the lid is horrible

I had this in a patio box on a covered porch (protected from the elements) and the lid molded within a few weeks. The company's customer support is horrible. I contacted them directly and they told me to email another department. So I emailed that person who then told me I had to email yet another department since his team didn't make those grills.All I want is a replacement lid. As it stands right now, I can't travel with it since there's no lid.The grill itself is just ok. It heats a little unevenly. If you decide to try it, I highly recommend you treat the wooden lid to protect it from any moisture at all.

[Rewarded Review] Compact, Sturdy, & Great for on the go

This is the perfect size grill for on the go. Instead of carrying a bag of charcoal & taking up space, I can pack my little propane tank inside the base of the grill that has a special place to store it. Its make overall is high quality including the detachable chopping block that serves as a lid when not in use. I even use it indoors in between grilling. The grill piece is strong hefty cast iron & washes easily. It works great & cooks my food evenly & gives it that outdoor grilled taste. Without a lid however, I have to keep an eye on my meat a little more frequently. This will give me lots of use though because of how well it is made.

First of all, I just love the over all look of this Cuisinart Portable Grill. It has that retro kind of look that I love. There are so many great features regarding this grill. The top serves as a cover for the grill when not in use, and doubles as a good size wooden cutting board, which I really like. Another great feature is how everything stores inside of the grill when not in use. The legs were easy to attach, as was the small propane tank we bought. The control knob was easy to use, and the grill preformed well for me. Since having it a couple of weeks now, I have used it four times with no issues or problems. Love this Cuisinart portable gas grill. I was looking for a portable grill that cooked like a full size and this is it.....very well built...heats up fast.....great size and still fits on the end of a picnic table! I love the cutting board on top of the grill. It makes it very convenient when in the go. I can chop my food right there. It very easy to use and the heat is consistent regardless of where I put my food. Easy to clean and not too heavy to take on the go. All I needed was a small propane tank to make it work. This is great for travel or even to use at home. It's definitely an attention getter with the high quality look and build.
