Unfortunately this sofa bed was a big disappointment. We use the couch on a daily basis and we constantly have to fix it so it keeps its shape. I have neck pain because this couch ends up sliding towards the floor and there’s no way to get it to hold shape for more than 10 mins. It’s very uncomfortable and although it looks great, i would not recommend this to anyone that wants a couch for daily use. The bed function is not too bad, although the bottom part of the couch sits at a higher level than the rest of the folds so I means you lay in a declining angle. Excellent couch. Came with a mattress topper already - not sure if that’s new or not (read some reviews where they were without). Couch is very comfy although is not the “main” couch so can’t comment on use everyday. Had my parents stay recently who slept on it and said very comfy! Super easy to put together, can be done by one person, and very easy to pull out and use as bed. Very happy with this couch! Highly recommended. We got colour gum leaf and it’s beautiful.A note on sizing - best to measure up. The 3 seater is larger than the average queen bed when we measured (and also is very large). So ended up with the 2.5 seater which is absolutely plenty big enough when used as a bed (and is just a tad smaller than a queen bed and larger than a double).

Pretty happy with this bed. We were a bit limited in our choices for sofa beds given a very tight entrance to the house. Ttherefore the koala was the best choice for our house. Bed is comfortable but the sofa is a little shallow (would be great to have maybe 5 more centimetres of depth). Overall really comfortable.Pro tip that we just discovered. If you have the space for storage, take out the mattress from the bed and store separately from the sofa. With the mattress in there was a noticeable lean to the front that kept slowly “ejecting” us from the sofa onto the floor. That disappeared when we took out the mattress (but left us with the problem of finding somewhere to store the mattress). But I would recommend as a sofa bed solution overall.

Couch is exactly what I imagined for the space. A family room where the kids can pull the sofa bed out and make a nest to watch a movie. The Colour selection was far the hardest and we started with the Tinny Colour and refunded for the Paperbark. The website doesn’t show the colours very well but am in love with Paperbark. Comfort - is ok. I’ve put another cushion inner in one of the side pillows that was too flat. I also feel there is less padding on this couch arms than the Tinny. Customer service staff are unreal, refund arranged, new delivery and were informative the whole time. Very happy and wouldn’t hesitate to shop at Koala again.

It was really easy to assemble and it looks like a lot of packaging but actually broken down to being ok (I am in an apartment with shared bins so lots of packaging is a nightmare). I am in love with it. It is quite wide so if you have a small space just note that but I am quite tall and find I can be really comfortable. I saw some people mentioned that you tip forward if on the edges which I actually find a positive as I get pain from couches that sort of tip you backwards like a bucket seat and are hard to get out of. We previously had a light grey colour couch, and the fabric quickly showed the signs of any dirty toddler fingers, spilt food, etc. So far our toddler has dropped a piece of vegemite toast (vegemite side down) on the couch, which came off with some baby wipes leaving no visible mark behind, and has split an entire pouch of yoghurt, which again, came off with baby wipes leaving no visible mark behind!Additionally, we use it folded out ALL the time!
