It might have a boron and titanium steel blade and a spotted wood hardwood shaft but the week link is the plastic handle.Now their is plastic and there is plastic .This is a poor brittle plastic and not suited for purpose.I support Australian made when I can but this needs serious improvement.Returning for a refund and will put that towards a better product.

Good spade, good shaft.but the plastic handle snapped after using for around 3 hours.Replaced the D handle with my old Cyclone metal handle that is over 20years old that I fortunately kept when the spade wore out. Cyclone need to take a serious look at the quality of these.
