I bought this to replace an old hoe that I was using to unblock the concrete culverts under my driveway. I waited until a big downpour and used the water pressure to help clear the gravel & debris that accumulated in the pipe. The teeth work well to grab onto sticks and the handle length meant I could pretty much clear out a 3m pipe. Awesome tool.
Providing your soil is not hard and compact this is a fantastic tool for weeding. There are 3 angles to use and easily digs into the soil snagging the weeds.
Great product that easily pulls out weeds and does the job in a fraction of the time hand weeding takes. Also saves bending for those with back issues.
This is a great gardening tool. especially for the more mature gardeners. No over bending or kneeling..
The perfect weeder - for small and large weeds. You can clear an area with only occasionally bending down to pick up an obstinate weed, and certainly no kneeling on the ground! The multi-prongs get up small and dense weeds, the two large prongs pull out large weeds, and the weeds can be tossed straight into a green bin or whatever. Very well designed. After much use, I tried using force on some old tree roots to pull them up and the weld holding the head to the handle broke. But I am buying a new one, and will get the old one re-welded as a spare.
The weeding prongs are very useful in removing dandelions from the garden, and the blade end helps dig up the soil to help in the removal of weeds that have deeper roots. Only downside I find is that the rake end is a bit too small and you would have to rake longer to clean up the garden.
I was supposed to buy the basic single surface one but they are sold out.This were the only ones available so i had no choice.Shouldn't have bought it!
