I play multiple times a week between home enjoyment, rehearsals, gigs, and studio sessions. These strings are sturdy. I have easily gotten 4x plus the use out of these strings compared to the standard nickel wound. Adds the right amount of brightness and clarity to every guitar.

These strings were recommended by Chris (Guitar Tech) at Guitar Center Greensboro. (Vanstory). I like them so much they are now my go to and have my Les Paul's set up for them. If you haven't tried these strings throw on a set and rip through them. You can thank me later.

These strings have a thin coating that makes them easy on the fingers. I can play effortlessly and the coating doesn't "dull" the sound.I've tried other brands with coatings and they sound dull compared to these. I am definitely going to continue to use them on all my electric guitars.
D'Addario makes the best strings on the market. They stay in tune longer and last longer. I use both D'AddarioElectric and Acoustic strings. The XSE1046 nickel wound live up to their advertising. They stay in tune , sound greatAnd feel smooth on your finger tips. That's all you need from a string. Buy them!
I have a been playing the guitar for decades and have always played flat-wound strings. I have never used aset with a naked G-string. I specifically requested a wrapped G-string when I had Guitar Center do the set-up. When I got the guitar back it had a naked G-string. It has had a negative impact on my futurerelationship with Guitar Center. Incidentally, I have been using D-Addario Chromes for a long time and likethem.
I was looking for strings that will hold up during long sets with very little time to tune between songs. These strings hold a tune extremely well! I don't do a lot of bending, but they still impress me where other brands have let me down by going out of tune very easily. I love em!
I've put these strings on my tele four months ago. They're still good, nice sound, nice feel, so I ordered more. Very clean tone. I'm not that picky regarding strings, I just need ones that last a long time, and do not sound dull.
I just put a set on my Les Paul and I found that the nickel isn't overly bright but still allows for some clarity despite the coating. I didn't notice a reduction in sustain which I was somewhat expecting. I really love the feel and would recommend these over conventional, non-coated nickel strings if budget allows.
Absolutely top quality coated strings. The first set to make me move from Elixir strings that I've been using for years. The feel is lighter for the same gauge, the coating even less noticeable. Absolutely brilliant from possibly the industry's top manufacturer. Coated strings for those who don't break strings deliver consistent tone and far better value for money due to hugely increased lifespan. Try them if you haven't. You won't look back.
