I just got it, so there is no review yet, but I love the reel ...
I combined this reel with a Shimano Slick butt Terez rod and used it last week for dolphin / medium bottom fishing out of Hatteras and was perfect!!! This is my second Daiwa Saltiga - it is comparable with stella of similar size. Love them!

Perfect example of you get what you pay for. Reel performs exceptionally well, super smooth and tough. Takes a beating and still works like new time in and time out. If you're ever interested in a reel in this class, the saltiga is worth taking a look at.
