I’ve owned the original Dali Katch for 5 years and realised it always sound so much more interesting and informative than any of my friends wireless speakers!So when the New Katch G2 hit the grid I had to have a listen, I couldn’t believe it..The sound was even more punchy, accurate and felt more powerful too!It’s also a well made, beautiful and a subtle design too!And to top it off the battery seems inexhaustible!So happy I bought another, that doesn’t often happen!

I wanted a bluetooth speaker that gave a good sound whilst my wife wanted something that 'looked good' as a discrete piece of furniture in the family room (she was fed up with hideous the black box!).After reading reviews, the Dali Katch G2 seemed to fit the bill because it certainly looked so much better than other speakers which had similar 'hi-fi' reviews of sound quality and I haven't been disappointed.The sound is great and the volume awesome (not that I play music loud) and it is beautifully built and just 'feels' good. It is expensive but "quality remains long after the price is forgotten" and it was definitely worth the money.

Excellent build quality, sounds better paired.Need to switch equaliser to warm setting at higher volumes because of treble harshness, but that might be due to the low bit rate source of 320 kbps ?Audio interference and total loss of connection when microwave is in operation.

Researched BT speakers online, Dahli Katch has favourable reviews so went into the Prestwich store for a demo. Staff were knowledgable, paired their demo speaker up for a run through, fist impressions were positive, it’s a chunky speaker, well designed with simple controls, sound quality is excellent with no distortion at any volume with a wide range of music running through it. It can be paired with second Katch to give stereo sound, that wouldbeanexpensive option but if you wanted a portable setup it could be done. The speaker comes with a multi continent power source, a neat storage bag and quick start instructions, though to be fair it’s self explanatory, connects really fast and can be controlled easily either with the remote device volume control or the Katch ... Looks and sounds lovey - 5 stars. There is a known issue with volume control when Bluetoothed. On my (now quite old) Android Oneplus 3T, it's a lottery how the volume will behave. For example, scrub a track in Spotify and the volume instantly goes to maximum. Get buffering on a YouTube vid and when play resumes, volume shoots to maximum. In these instances the biggest and most obvious button to press is the Dali off button - but that takes a while to respond, or the volume down button, and ditto. Not ideal if you're listening to an audiobook "quietly" at 1am. For that reason, 3 stars.
It's true what they say about this speaker, the sound is fabulous! Very impressed with the frequency range and the clarity in the vocals. It's worth every penny if you want a quality portable speaker. If you're not fussed about quality, there are plenty of speakers at a fraction of the price.
I don't normally bother leaving product reviews but in this instance I felt compelled. I never thought it would be possible to obtain such a nice sound from such a small(ish) portable speaker. I've heard a few and have owned a couple of the UE series over the years but none of them come close to this Dali. Clarity, Soundstage and Balance are all second to none. The build quality is excellent, it comes very nicely packaged and although it's at the higher end of the price range in comparison to others of a similar size, to me, it's worth every penny. If you, like me enjoy your Hifi and appreciate a quality sound then this Dali Katch G2 is a no brainer. I highly recommend giving one a listen if you're in the market for a portable speaker...it's that good!

Due to the design it would be easy to knock over as it's tall and thin, but it has some rubber feet that seem good. Easy to set up and charges quickly. You can also charge your phone from the speaker using a USB output (also used for firmware updates when available).Has a warmth to the sound with some depth from the bass which is good. You can also switch to 'clear' EQ mode as opposed to warm. Basic button controls for on, off, EQ toggle and volume. Has a 3.5mm jack input.I really like the AptX HD support. It seems to be dying out. I was told about the Dali Katch G2 by the Manchester Richer Sounds. I did my research the speck. I really like the look of the Dali. I phoned Preston Richer Sounds who were really helpful, they didn't have any in store. (Which saved me a trip). So ordered it over the Phone there and then. I received it the day after. The fourteen day money back no questions asked, is a good policy because I hadn't listened to it. Sorry your not having it back. It's a great portable bluetooth speaker. It looks good. It sounds fantastic and it has inspired everyone who has listened to it. Highly recommended.
I was looking for a Bluetooth speaker that would support my laptop and office needs. The audiophile sound quality is superb. I have also, linked it to the tv - its better than the tv's built in speakers. Overall, it will now be used more than my main hifi system.
