The SUB E-9 F DALI subwoofer is extremely compact, with an edge length of only around 30 centimetres, and is recommended for expanding numerous stereo and home cinema systems such as DALI's ZENSOR and FAZON models. The combination of a 230 mm woofer chassis, a bass reflex system precisely tuned to the driver and the 220 watt digital power amplifier integrated into the subwoofer guarantees a deep and powerful bass reproduction. The cone of the woofer is made of pure aluminium, which not only makes the cone extremely torsionally stiff and light, but also gives the subwoofer an extremely refined hi-tech look. The generously dimensioned rubber surround, the heavy magnet system and the massive four-layer voice coil also allow the diaphragm to move with particularly long excursion - an important prerequisite for vehement air movements, which are further supported by the downward directed bass reflex port. After all, the comparatively tiny woofer thus provides a lower cut-off frequency of 37 Hertz and a sound pressure level of up to 111 dB. A significant contribution to the high quality of the SUB E-9F is also made by the built-in digital output stage. It mobilises 170 watts of continuous and 220 watts of impulse power and can be optimally adjusted to the prevailing acoustic conditions with the integrated controls for volume and upper cut-off frequency (control range 40 to 120 Hertz) as well as a phase inversion switch. The DALI Sub can be controlled either via the LFE output of a home cinema receiver or with a stereo signal. DALI SUB E-9 F is available in three different housing designs: high-quality foil surfaces in black ash, light walnut and white are available. The front walls are painted in high-gloss black or white and contain hidden magnets that can be used to fix the front covers, which are available as optional accessories. Rounded rubber feet give the subwoofer a secure stand and acoustically isolate it from the floor.
