Got the thing home and "put together" not knowing the cover bag had holes in it. In turn the first time it rained and water pooled on the tent bag, it filled the tent up with water and now I've got a mouldy tent I can't use even after replacing the mattress. To top it off no matter how many times I try I don't get a reply to get the thing refunded/replaced. Thing that bugs me the most other than the waste of money is it had the potential to be a great tent. Hopefully now that'll be resolved.

great product but could be improved.the Zipper that attaches the tent to the tent cover has been the main negative with this design, it is easily caught on material where as something such as Velcro could have avoided this issue entirely getting rid of this failing point.second issue is the pin system on the ladder, it is not user friendly and requires fiddling around to find the sweet spot to completely engage.a simple design review could avoid the unnecessary struggle to guide the pin into place.Besides those issues this is great product and the ventilation is ideal.The star gazer window is a fantastic idea!the bedding is comfortable.over all a great product with a few features letting it down unfortunately.

We had rain leaking into the tent and soaking the mattress at the first heavy rain as one of the seals covering the sewing inside the tent wasn't done properly.

Super impressed with the simplicity of this tent and how easy it is to set up, easily packs up with sleeping bags, Blankets and pillows. Would recommend!
FANTASTIC TENT. I've done a lot of homework on these RTT,Great quality materials in all areas, strong zips,set up and packs away with ease.The Darche is so comfortable for me and my partner. We were warm down Albany when it was windy and cold to the point we had to unzip to get cooler. When I'm up north the windows are open and it stays cool. I'm wrapped i paid for the better tent rather than the cheap and nasty people buy and get sucked into like I nearly did..
Bought this rooftop tent about 1 month ago, I live in the Sunshine Coast and I used it for my road trip to Melbourne and back, i really wanted it to rain so i could give it a good test, i finally got my wish on the way home when staying at Urunga, crazy wind and rain as a cyclone was lurking that weekend, both tent and i survived and not a drop of water in the tent. Very easy to assemble and disassemble, can't wait for my next trip. I also want to add its great being able to leave your bedding in the tent, so all you have to do is unfold it and you're good to go.
My Partner and I just took our tent for its maiden voyage to the south coast for a week. The weather was testing at times heavy rain and strong winds along with hot temperatures during the day.The Darche tent did it easy, all our bedding stayed dry, it held up in the wind with ease and having a window on all four sides allows you to stay cool . Very fast to put up and pack away . Should have bought one years ago.
Purchased this product after much research on many roooftop tents, decided to go with this model and could not be happier. The tent frame is solid and the mattress is very comfortable compared to other leading brands! Used recently on the June long weekend with heavy rain and it worked perfectly. If you are after a quality rooftop tent do not look anywhere else.
Super happy with the quality and comfort of this tent, I have lots of mates who have the Kings roof top tents and the quality difference is second to none. Seems much lighter and has lots of airflow which helps on hot nights. Would highly recommend
Easy to set up good in the rain , could use bit more room , to leave pillows in it , have to take them out , and straps to hold cover down could be 100mm longer bit of a stretch
