The Rooftop tent is absolutely perfect! I am a single female travelling on my own and was able to set it up and close it down with no problem at all and very quickly. The first night of use, there was a huge downpour after I went to bed, and not one leak at all! Love it! And it fits well on my little SUV. The only downside I have is the zip for the cover. On my practice run setting it up, the fabric got caught in the zip and that was the only time, I had to get strong men to try and open it for me. Otherwise, I can do everything myself. Perhaps a bit of the plastic canvas to tuck in behind the zip would prevent this. In all the commotion, my zip broke and will have to get this part replaced. But besides that, absolutely perfect! Excellent except no setup / pack up instructions...only came with fitting instructions...Otherwise I would give 5*

Easy to install and setup. Only down side would be any form of instruction would be great.
Love the tent and the price negotiated was brilliant. My issue was with the staff and the condition of the tent on pick up.All bolts cross threaded and threads collapsed. Broke my 13 mm ratchet spanner trying to get the bolts apart once the thread collapsed. Had to tie the RTT to the top of the car and take it to Bunnings to fix.Asked for assistance and got minimal help.I have shopped here and spent thousands over the years. Just would have expected a little more sympathy and assistance.Tent cover covered in Dust Dirt and Spiderwebs.
We've had Darche items, a swag, and that worked well before and was good quality so we went with the Darche RTT because it fitted onto the canopy well. At the end of the day it's still a tent on top of the roof but it's probably one of the better ones. The thing that really lets it all down is the mattress. Unless you are used to sleeping on concrete you will have to put something underneath the current mattress or replace it completely with an inflating mattress. That's for the product, but even more disappointing was the Tent World online experience with items getting lost, not being shipped to the shipping address but to the billing address and some items not even turning up at all forcing us to seek an eventual refund.
Easy to install and use. I haven't taken it out into the real world just yet.
