I have been using Davidoff Cool Water for Men products for nearly 30 years. I was in Chicago for work in 1990, not long after the brand was launched. For some reason I travelled for work almost constantly for 27 years out of the last 30, I had found myself in a fine mess well, I had circumnavigated the world in loads of trips in one month, and I had got to the state that I hardly knew where I was. The lady asked me how long I was staying and I said for the week, and she got me down a gift set of Davidoff Cool Water for Men stuff. I had a sniff at a tester and liked it.I have used it ever since. Its fresh without being oversweet, flowery without being feminine. It suits my chemicalsensitive skin fine, and the shower gel in particular goes a long way. I am now 56 and was a much younger man when I first tried it, but it still fits me, and nobody in a party has ever twitted me for wearing a young mans scent, like some kind of reverse Old Spice. I liked it then, and I like it now.

I absolutely love the original cold water, and I purchased this, on a blind by, thinking it would be a more intense version of that. It's nothing like that, in my opinion. The best advice I could give you on. This one is to absolutely test it before you buy it. It's an absolute beast when it comes to strength and longevity, so you better like the smell before you buy it. I wear the original one several times a week, but don't know that I'll ever wear this one again. I may be gifting this one to a friend.
