I tried this toothpaste on a whim. I have sensitivity to fluoride and have to be careful with it or I get a rash. Non-fluoride toothpaste are normally disgusting. This toothpaste is the solution I have been looking for for years. It taste delish, doesn’t have a weird texture, and tastes so yummy! I’m also a sucker for packaging and I really like the design and the cute little key that it comes with it to roll the tube down as you use it.I am officially a fan and will be a returning customer! If you were on the fence about this product, I can safely say that it is worth trying it. It is really great.

I had missed my regular scheduled dentist appointment and procrastinated on rescheduling. Ended up being 1 1/2 before I got back in for a cleaning. Dentist said she couldn't believe that it had been that long since I'd had a cleaning. Took me a while to get used to the taste after using the run of the mill tooth paste all my life. Hubbs still won't use it but both my boys do with no complaints. Also notice that my breath is way better and I don't get tonsil stones anymore. Had tab out and within a months time noticed bad breath returned as well as the tonsil stones.

This gives the impression that their formulation falls short of the recommended concentration, and they're using evasive tactics to avoid this inconvenient truth.Worse still, David's is positioning itself as an alternative to fluoride toothpastes, which are scientifically proven to reduce cavities and must disclose their fluoride concentrations by law. This insinuation seems calculated to take advantage of consumers seeking fluoride-free options. This isn't just a matter of ineffective toothpaste; it's about the harm that can come from opaque and misleading advertising.Let's vote with our wallets and reject such deceptive practices. I've returned my David's toothpaste and have reported them to the Better Business Bureau. I urge you to do the same if you've had similar experiences. Davids Premium Natural Toothpaste--Peppermint

I received a tube of Davids Premium Natural Toothpaste in Peppermint courtesy of Target's 'hey, bullseye' program. For many years, we have been using more natural toothpaste in our home. Brushing our teeth with sodium lauryl sulfate free toothpaste is always preferred, but can at times be a challenge to find in the stores. Many of the more natural toothpastes are expensive, tend to be gritty, or have an odd flavor profile (too minty, too herbal tasting, too sweet). I was excited to try Davids toothpaste. While the metal key tube squeezer it comes with takes a few tries to get used to, it is very easy to use, and leaves peace of mind knowing that you really are getting every last drop of toothpaste from the tube. Thank you again to Target and Davids for the opportunity to try an amazing product.

Gimmicky and fear driven

This product seems quite gimmicky, like a profit generating political stunt. First, the tag line for the brand is nature+america+you. The best way to refer to the country we live in is the United States of America, or the USA. Referring to the USA as America sounds uneducated. Second, the recyclable tube initially sounds like a solid idea, but I doubt a majority of the users will cut open the tube and properly clean the inside of the tube and spout so the tube can be properly recycled. Also, the key is completely unnecessary and contributes to further waste. The cap has a built in perforator, and the key doesn’t even fit in the mouth of the tube. Third, the toothpaste features many health conscious claims, driving the well marketed fear that certain chemicals—like fluoride—are toxic when in fact they’re recommended by medical professionals and demonstrated to be entirely safe and effective. I did, however, appreciate how the toothpaste cleaned—my teeth felt extraordinarily smooth and my breath felt and smelled lovely. But I will not continue to use the toothpaste because I don’t want to take the chance of accelerated dental decay by not using a fluoride toothpaste. And I’m not particularly inclined to support this brand in the future unless significant changes are made.

High quality toothpaste

I've gone through multiple tubes of David's over the years and they are consistently great! The metal tube took some adjusting, but I now prefer it to plastic tubes. Be careful not to crimp the edges of the tube when squeezing out the toothpaste else it can puncture holes and toothpaste comes out. But other than that it's easy to use and lasts a super long time. The formula is smooth and has a good flavour. Though, I don't ever use the turning key and would prefer if you could opt out of it :/

I absolutely love the toothpaste but….

This toothpaste is great. After trying countless natural options I finally feel like I’ve found a gem with David. It’s minimal packaging and sustainable core makes me feel at ease. The taste is fantastic and makes my mouth feel so clean. But.. can you please stop including the metal key in every box? This makes me uncomfortable to throw away and contradictory to the sustainability mission. Is there a way to send them back to you once done? I feel counterproductive collecting these metal keys from your product and I can’t imagine throwing them away. Besides that, it’s wonderful!

Thanks we were having a hard time finding all natural toothpaste that didn't cause allergies for my child. Just the smell of other toothpaste caused a reaction. Got ours today. She opened it smelled it and got eager to brush her teeth. Even better she did not have an instant bad reaction. So far I've been using it and my teeth are happy.

My go-to toothpaste from now until forever!
30 April 2023

I had been wanting to switch to a “not so toxic” toothpaste for awhile and then found David’s! Let me say I was in love from the very start. I love the way it cleans my teeth, it does foam up a little but not as much as the old brands I was using of course (but that’s because of all the chemicals the other brands use to make it foam up) and I love the minty freshness! I really appreciate David’s taking the Fluoride Free approach because every dentist will tell you differently, but Fluoride is a poison people. Stay away from it.I have switched my whole family over to this brand and we will never go back!

The Best

I'm a vegan; prefer natural ingredients; and top quality with results. This is THE toothpaste that provides! I bought one tube in Target and then jumped on David's website and ordered travel sizes to keep with me on my adventures. Yes, it's that good. Gentle, through cleansing without damaging enamel. Calcium carbonate to help remineralize those pearly whites. And yes, my teeth are looking whiter! The taste is vibrant with a touch of sweetness! Very impressed! New loyal customer!
