Davines Love Lovely Smoothing Shampoo, 250 ml

I’m in LOVE!! I’ve been following CGM for my fine but naturally wavy hair for 6 months. I realized I just prefer to wear my hair straight, but wanted something that could help the frizz that happens when there’s any humidity in the air.I’ve used this for 3 washes and have been SO impressed!! I was nervous this would be too heavy for my fine hair, but it’s not. I use both the love shampoo and conditioner, then use the oi hair milk and hair oil. My hair is soooo soft and smooth, even without a straightener!I also have very greasy hair (even day 2 is awful for me without dry shampoo, which I cannot use due to the alcohols) but so far I’ve been able to go every other day for washing without dry shampoo. Will definitely rebuy!

This is the only shampoo that I use on my hair. I used it for years when I colored my hair. I grew my gray out during Covid and it adds shine and softness. I don't have curly hair. I have fine hair and this shampoo does not weigh my hair down. I use it daily. The smell is wonderful. This is a luxury product and worth every penny. I'm so glad I found the company website. The samples added to the box at checkout are a bonus. The company service is excellent, just like the product!

This is the only shampoo (and full product line) that tames my fine and frizzy hair. I used this back in 2017 and had loved it at the time, but eventually went away from it when I started getting keratin treatments and my frizz was tamed chemically. In 2020, I stopped with keratin treatments and I've tried every type of product: protein, bond building, frizz fighting, adding moisture, etc., etc., until I just went back to the Love line of products. My hair is soft and the frizz is tamed. Never turning away now, so thankful this exists for my hair type.

I LOVE Love! The texture of my hair has changed over the last few years and I've been noticing a lot more hair loss with every wash; all likely due to aging since I'm in my 40s now. I was concerned about the cream formulation at first, but I've found that I'm using less to get the exact amount of conditioning that I need. My hair is fine and tangles easily, so I've always had to use extra conditioner. With the Love conditioner, for the first time in my life, I didn't run out of conditioner before I ran out of shampoo. The premium salon shampoo I had relied on for years changed, and was leaving my normally fabulous hair limp and oily-looking. When I first tried this shampoo, with the complimentary sample of Love Smoothing conditioner I received, I was disappointed. Limp and oily-looking hair. I began to wonder if it was just me, but then I tried the shampoo with a different conditioner, and wow! My hair got its mojo back! I will definitely buy it again.

Looks like I get to be the first to review the new formula. I'm going to be honest, I hate it when a company changes the formula on a product that I already find to be as perfect as this one was. It rarely ever turns out to be a better product. I honestly think the new formula is every bit as amazing as the prior formula. I LOVE the Love Shampoo and Conditioner and I have tried a few from this line, but the Love is by far the best for my hair. I have very long, thick, color treated hair that can get very dry, especially at the ends. No longer with this amazing shampoo/conditioner pair! I have tried almost every drug store hair care products on the market and they don't even come close. My hair has never looked or felt better since I started using Davines products. They smell wonderful as well. I also absolutely love the Oi hair milk treatment spray, that one is my holy grail. I will never go without it. The pricing on these products is high, but you don't need to use a lot and I don't wash my hair everyday. An 8oz bottle lasts me at least 2 months and it is well worth the cost. I don't mind paying high end pricing for truly quality products and the Davines Love line is the best I have found after trying a lot of high end salon quality products. Give them a try, you will not be disappointed.

I constantly wore my hair in a pony tail because the frizz was so bad and I did not know what else to do. I tried putting additional products in my hair to help tame the frizz but quickly realized all I was doing was putting a band-aid over a deeper issue, I needed to buy better shampoo. I went to my local salon and they reccomened LOVE and I could feel a gigantic difference following the first wash. My hair is silky and soft again and the frizz is tamed. If each bottle breaks down to spending $10 a month I will consider it money extremely well spent; each bottle of my previous shampoo and conditioner were $8 a bottle and I bought at least one a month. And, above all else, the added value of the performance of these products on my hair is PRICELESS. They seem expensive when you are used to buying grocery store shampoo but their lifespan is so long and the performance is so amazing that the value is *absolutely* there.

This shampoo is a great one for frizzy hair. While my hair is frizzy, it is more on the fine side and so this shampoo (and matching conditioner) could weigh it down a bit. That's on me for not picking the most suited product however. I will say, the scent is delicious and really lasts in the hair but not in an obnoxious way. Overall, I love the brand and everything they do. If your hair is thicker and frizzy I have no doubt you'll love this.

This has been my favorite shampoo since my sister gifted it to me last Christmas. I have ordered it several times since then and it’s just wow every single time. I have always struggled with frizzy hair, which make any styling look like a half-job. The LOVE line is excellent at keeping the frizz under control without making the hair heavy. I love the texture and the smell, which is very pleasant and does not clash with my perfume. I am so addicted to this that I always ensure I have more than one bottle at home.
