Davines Nounou Nourishing Shampoo 250ml

I bought this from my hair salon that swear by Davines products! I wanted to take care of my new blonde hair after getting a partial highlight. I bought this Nou Nou shampoo in the liter size (I thought I’d love it and use it for a long time) to help keep my hair healthy. Every time I wash with it, my hair is insanely frizzy and so hard to brush through it. It also doesn’t suds up very well so I have to use a significant amount. I have other Davines products and love them, but I am definitely disappointed in the Nou Nou shampoo.

Goodbye Olaplex…Hello Nounou! I am of mature age, my hair texture is changing due to the silver/grey hair coming in. I have been searching for the right shampoo and products to use to keep my hair as smooth as possible, I have always had fine smooth hair until now. The Nounou shampoo and conditioner is the magic combo for me. I also purchased the Nounou hair mask, but have not tried it yet, so cannot say at this point. I also use the Liquid Spell, which I love! I would love for Davines to make a Nounou Spray Mist, that would be the icing on the cake!

I just bought this conditioner and really, really like the product itself so far. My issue is with the packaging. Incredibly difficult to open this plastic container and even more difficult in the shower. Would it really be that difficult to put this in a squeeze tube? The product itself would move through fine as long as the tube wasn't super hard plastic and I know you can get tubes made out of recycled material. Or a jar with a screw top lid? This almost makes me want to not buy the product again. For the price, this packaging makes it far too difficult to enjoy this product. That's why I only gave it three stars, which is a shame because the product itself is really good, but I literally cracked the container trying to get it open and had to find a replacement ... MoreI just bought this conditioner and really, really like the product itself so far. This shampoo just wasnt a right fit for my hair. I have tried all the varieties over the years from Davines which I love as a brand and their mission for products truly. All their shampoos have very good ph levels as well compared to most brands on the market that are way too high/alkaline which many dont realize has a huge effect on frizz and drying out your hair and scalp just as badly as hard water all your life and even causing many scalp conditions. I think Nounou just happens to have more protein per being for really damaged processed hair as opposed to just naturally dry so it worked well enough but but wasnt nearly as hydrating as my staple Momo is. Also I feel like Momo is truly the least lather which I prefer even with all the formulas being less crazy stripping lather than other brands. Lastly Nonou has that sickly citrus floral artifical scent I cant stand as some of the other varieties in the line have while Momo smells the most natural truly. I am not sensitive to scents but the super pungent artificial ones that are reminiscent of strong perfume to me are just too much in hair products and similar to what I hate about all the Oribe Shampoos. I prefer relaxing clean natural scents in everything I use on top of the quality formulas. So Nounou is definitely a good lower ph moisturizing option in the line if it works for your specific hair but Momo will always be my #1. Many options in this line to find your perfect fit!

This conditioner is an all time favourite. If you have a lot chemical damage or just need a lot of extra conditioning this stuff is fantastic. it hardly has any protein in it but tons of good conditioning agents and the ingredients are high quality. i only use about a quarter - dollar coin size amount for my long high porosity bleached fine hair and it gives my hair so much nourishment. wouldn’t necessarily recommend for low porosity hair though, i could see it being kind of heavy.

Fantastic Shampoo

I have been using NouNou for about a year since my hairdresser sold it to me. I’ve always bought it direct from her because it’s so convenient for me but I wanted to spread the word about this holy shampoo. It’s AMAZING. I’ve tried everything - from Olaplex (AKA spending all my money) to hair growth stimulating caffeine shampoos. But this. This is the one. My hair is colour treated - about a year ago it was bleached blonde but it’s coloured to my natural brunette colour now so as you can imagine, my hair was very dry. this puts the shine and the bounce back in, leaves my hair refreshed, soft and moisturised. And repaired. It’s healed my hair - DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY ON OLAPLEX, buy this instead!!

Hair Loves This

I use this with the nounou hair mask and I won't use anything else now. I've 2C/3A curly hair which is fine in texture. It feels so healthy/soft, less frizzy and always air dries beautifully since I've used this range. I've tried loads of other haircare products and ranges (including OI, which is also lovely but doesn't work for me as well as this does) and this one is my favourite. My hair just loves this range, so I keep using it.

Love it!

I actually use it on and off because I use a bunch of products to revive my bleached hair. But whenever I use it, I'm just amaze by how soft my hair feels. Although my hair looks like a witches broom, it does feel very soft. I have very thin hair too and when I use it, I feel like there's still hope for it. Oh and the scent kind of reminds me of that perfume Eternity, it's a very strong scent but when you apply it to your hair, it becomes a bit more mellow and leaves a nice clean scent. I do feel like the packaging is pretty neat, but sometimes the product sticks to the cover and it's kind of weird, but convenient in a way cause I can scoop out what I need and then close it. All in all a very positive experience for me using this product!

This stuff is gold

I always thought all conditioners were the same. I've tried everything from Pantene to tresseme to even more expensive brands like Paul Mitchell. Thought all conditioners were just not that great. My hair is difficult. Very wavy, was very dry due to washing it so often. Everything I tried just had the same blah result. Then I tried davines love shampoo and conditioners. With the same brand I also tried nounou. Trust me it is expensive but very worth the cost. Instantly softer, smoother more manageable hair. Smells great. Transformed my hair from a frizzy mess to soft and beautiful waves and curls. My hair is so easy to brush and tame now.

WOW. Softening, most softening of the Davines line

I love the shampoo more than the conditioner. I used to not be able to use any type of suds on mostly clean hair and id have to use a cleansing conditioner. Now, I can wash my hair whenever I want (daily) and not worry about being stripped or dry. This smells so lite like a baby's product, but more buttery. Such a yummy smell and not super weird like some Davines products.
