Davis & Waddell Oven Thermometer Stainless Steel

I found it difficult to handle and see in the hot oven. Tried to hang it and it fell down, and fell over when I tried to adjust it standing. I tried to place it as close as possible to the dish.

I had previously purchased (elsewhere) a cheaper thermometer and it did t last long before it stopped working.I am very pleased with my Davis and Waddell replacement. It works perfectly and very accurate.Thank you Peter's of Kensington once again for a good product.

Have not actually put it to the test yet but when I was searching for an oven temperature gauge this one appealed the most as it had the largest celsius numbers and generally overall presented as a quality product.

It is easy to read the temperture and fits and locks good in the oven.

An essential oven accessory to make you like a chef

It works as expected to give me precise reading in a timely manner. This lets me have an excellent temperature control in the oven. My family members like the cup cakes now I make more than in the past :)

Easy to read, & correct temperature at all times.

Suspected my oven was not working at the correct temperature, & I was right. My oven is 30 degrees lower, so by having this oven thermometer gives me peace of mind, & know my cooking temp. is correct.

Know the real oven temperature!

This thermometer is extremely useful in telling you the exact temperature of your oven. It's especially useful for those ovens that don't give you a direct indication of how the temperature is progressing - you know, the ovens where the indicator light just goes out to show that the desired temperature has been reached. A very useful addition to your kitchen equipment, and well made. Choose the version that suits you best - where the Celsius temperatures are shown in big numbers, with Fahrenheit temps in smaller numbers. Very easy to use. Recommended for all keen cooks!

Made of quality materials

I bought this one for use in my wood fired oven to measure temperatures of up to 300 degrees Celsius. Unlike othe cheap versions, it doesnt discolour and the face hasnt gone black.

Oven check

Bought to check oven settings. Has indicated some variations. Am not confident it is well calibrated.

Proved my oven temperature was wrong.

I had suspected my oven temperature was not getting as hot as the dial indicated for a while. This thermometer proved my suspicion. Hangs easily on shelf out of the way and is visible through glass. Now can cook at correct temperatures without having to replace oven for now.
