De'Longhi Magnifica Start Coffee Machine, ECAM222.20.B, Black, Auto Milk

I absolutely love this coffee machine. I have been wanting to upgrade from my pod machine for a long time and this machine is perfect. The Magnifica Start has everything I could need. The instructions provided made setting this up much easier. The water tank is quite large and I can make around 7-8 coffees per refill. I personally love the cappuccino option. The frothy milk is a lovely addition, makes me feel like I’m drinking coffee from an actual coffee shop. You can also use the additional hot water tap by swapping the milk frother out to make cups of hot tea instantly. Is a rather large unit but I still have plenty of room on my kitchen bench. Honestly, when I first opened it, it was a little confusing and there were a lot of parts that kind of confused me a little, but they make it easy to understand with their guides, also give you pictures you can scan that lead directly to the website on YouTube to teach you how to set up your espresso machine how to clean and scale your espresso machine as well. the temperature control is really good on this machine. It has a coffee grinder machine connected to it where you can actually control how strong or light your coffee comes out, and you can also control the flow of how your coffee comes out as well, I love this machine. I give it five stars and I highly recommend it. This is like having a coffee shop right at your own hands in the comfort of your own home and it makes really amazing coffee. It also has the option to pour in coffee beans to ground, or you can actually open up a different section on the top of the machine, which allows you to pour instant coffee as well. you can do so with this machine is amazing. It doesn’t take lots of space in the kitchen and love the black colour which fits so good in my whole kitchen look. Automatic cleaning of milk system after each use. It says to reduce intensity of coffee if it’s too strong otherwise it won’t make a coffee. The brewing quality is really good and the strength of coffee is perfect. I like how soft and fluffy is fortified milk which gives every drink a velvety texture. Cons: There is not enough amount of coffee in one setting, need to make every coffee twice, two cappuccino, two americano etc. Some coffees feel quite cold and low in temperature. As I prefer every hot drink with high temperature than this is a con from me. I would add temperature control option. It’s quite loud when working and preparing a drink, cleaning and getting ready etc. Even tho the coffee drip is not full it asks to empty it almost every day. It is quite slow in general, need to think and prepare it before if planning to use it in hurry. I have had a few coffee machines in the past and I in general the features and functionality is the same however I would recommend this one out of all I had before as I like how everything is shown on the screen and if any problem it will tell you.

This coffee machine was sent from the gods! It makes the most amazing coffee which I’d say is actually better than what you’d get in a coffee shop. It’s incredibly easy to use with the option of using YouTube videos however the machine itself gives you step by step instructions. Once you get the hang of it it’s so simple and you can make your chosen cup in no time. I love the option of personalising it to different household members and being able to change the size and intensity is also very handy. I honestly have no complaints and if anyone ever asked me to recommend a high standard machine then this would be it. So lucky to have been chosen to receive this and it’s made my mornings much more enjoyable!

This machine is a replacement for a slightly older model, there are some definite improvements but also some features that could do with fine tuning. The machine is a nice slimline model and has a more sleek look and the profiles is a nice touch, however the profiles seem to be limited to choosing the size of drink you want, the intensity/strength of the coffee would be a good feature to add. This machine retails for almost £700 (from what I’ve seen) and if you are a coffee connoisseur and like the bean to cup advantages, milk frothers and various other smart features this is one for you, no more tamping the coffee down and measuring grounds etc, it is also a nice 250g pot for the beans so you can get a bag that size and input the whole thing at once, you will make many cups of coffee at the beginning adjusting settings so you might want some decaf for then otherwise you’ll be bouncing off the ceiling!

You can choose from 15 different types of coffee, all made from freshly ground beans. Just push a button and you get your perfect cup every time. It has a touchscreen and you can customize your coffee and save your favorites. The milk frother is easy to use, and it has a big water tank and a spot for storing coffee beans. You can even make profiles for different people in your family. It looks nice on your kitchen counter, too. The machine tells you when it needs more water or when the filter needs changing, I love this machine. It makes delicious coffee without any fuss.
